Product Usage Instructions
Connecting the Hub to MacBook

  1. Connect the Thunderbolt 3 Male Thunderbolt 3 connector of the hub to the Thunderbolt port of your MacBook.
  2. Connect the USB-C connector of the hub to the second Thunderbolt port of your MacBook.

Using USB-C Ports
To transfer data, display video, or charge your MacBook using the USB-C ports:

  1. Connect a USB-C or Thunderbolt device to one of the USB-C ports on the hub.
  2. The USB-C port supports up to TB3 40 Gbps data transfer rate, DP Alt mode 1.4 (up to 8.1 Gbps per lane), and Power Delivery up to 100W.

Note: The USB-C port does not support Power Delivery.

Using USB-A Ports
To transfer data, power a device, or charge a device using the USB-A ports:

  1. Connect a USB-C device to one of the USB-A ports on the hub.
  2. The USB-A ports support USB 3.2 GEN 1 with a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbps.

Note: The USB-A ports support charging up to 4.5W.

Using HDMI Port

To connect an external display using the HDMI port:

  1. Connect an HDMI-compatible device to the HDMI port on the hub.
  2. The HDMI port supports 4K resolution at 30Hz and is backward compatible.

Using Ethernet Port
To connect your device to a wired network:

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the hub
  2. The Ethernet port supports Gigabit Ethernet at a maximum speed of 1000Mbps.
