Product Usage Instructions

Mounting the Condensation Hood
Before mounting the condensation hood, please ensure that you have read and understood the safety information provided in this user manual, as well as in the installation and service manuals.

Mechanical Installation
Ensure that the distance from the condensation hood to the ceiling is a minimum of 300 mm.

Follow the steps below for mechanical installation:

  • Step 1: Prepare the necessary tools for installation.
  • Step 2: Identify the appropriate condensation hood for your oven type (standard, PassThrough, Stacking kit, or Stackit PassThrough).
  • Step 3: Position the condensation hood in the desired location above the oven.
  • Step 4: Securely mount the condensation hood to the ceiling using appropriate fasteners.
  • Step 5: Ensure that the condensation hood is properly aligned and leveled.

Testing the Condensation Hood
After mounting the condensation hood, it is important to test its functionality to ensure proper operation. Follow the steps below:

Before replacement

  • Make sure the required tools are available.
  • Unpack the spare parts and check if all parts are available.
  • Make sure the working area is tidied up, clean and safe to prevent personal injury and damage to the equipment.

Mounting the condensation hood

Mechanical installation

IMPORTANT!
The distance from the condensation to the ceiling must be a minimum of 300 mm.

  1. Drill out the center marks in the oven roof in the marked areas using a Ø4.7 drill and an M5 threaded tap. The illustration only shows some of the markings on the right-hand side of the oven. The same must be done on the left-hand side of the oven.

  2. Place the condensation hood on top of the oven.
    IMPORTANT!

    • Make sure that the pipes in the condensation hood fit on the exhaust pipe and air intake pipe on the oven.
    • In the case of a Stacking kit oven, make sure that the pipes in the condensation hood fit on the exhaust pipe and air intake pipe on the upper oven as well as the exhaust pipe for the bottom oven.fri-jado-20230926-Mounting-The-Condensation-Hood-fig- \(4\)
  3. Remove the front.

  4. Remove the six M5x10 screws on the left-hand side.

  5. Remove the side plate on the left-hand side.

  6. Remove the six M5x10 screws on the right-hand side.

  7. Remove the side plate on the right-hand side.

  9. Remount the side plates and fasten them with six screws.

  10. Remount the front.

Electrical installation
  1. Lead the wire for the IO board through the cable gland.
  2. Lead the wire down the back side of the oven.
  3. Fasten the wire with cable ties.
  4. Remove the side plate.
  5. Lead the wire under the oven and up through the hole for an Ethernet connection.

  7. Connect the wire to the IO board on J1.fri-jado-20230926-Mounting-The-Condensation-Hood-fig- \(16\)
  8. Put the three-pin plug into the socket.
  9. Switch on power.
Testing the condensation hood
  1. Go to “Settings” in the home screen menu.
  2. Log in as “Technician”.
  3. Touch “Oven setup”
  4. Touch “Test functions”.
  5. Touch “Other tests”.
  6. Touch “Main contactor”.
  7. Touch “External vent”.
