- Fully open the cot.
- Take out the cot and lay it flat on the ground.
- Lift up and extend the frame as shown above.
- Make sure legs and side frames are completely extended.
- Buckle in the security strap in the middle and around the frame.
- Press in all two side locks to secure the frame.
