OPERATING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAND LEISTER WELDER

1| Familiarise yourself with the controls, ensure you know how to operate the
machine.|
2| Before use check that the lead and plug are in good condition.|
3| Whilst operating be careful to keep well clear of the hot gun nozzle and
body. Whilst in use both are hot enough to cause a burn.|
4| Report any problem or issue immediately to your Supervisor or a member of
the management team.|
5| Only perform this process for a maximum of 30 minutes and take a 15 minute
break away from the process before recommencing.|
6| Ensure other staff are isolated from this procedure while tarpaulin heating
takes place.|

explained to me. I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when
using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will
ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the
Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
