VIVA UP0760 11 2 Inch Telescopic P Trap

Product Information

The Telescopic ‘P’ Trap is a plumbing component used to connect the waste pipe of a sink or basin to the main drainage system. It is designed to prevent foul odors and gases from escaping into the living space.

Swivel P Traps

Swivel P Traps offer flexibility by allowing you to adjust the outlet angle to better align with your plumbing setup. They feature an outlet nut, a soft rubber seal, and a swivel outlet for easy installation.

Product Usage Instructions

WARNING: Improper installation and failure to follow the correct testing procedures may result in water leakage. Make sure to carefully read and understand these instructions before proceeding.

Telescopic ‘P’ Trap Installation

1. Identify the correct size of the ‘P’ Trap based on the diameter of your waste pipe. Choose between Product Code WTBT32T (for 32mm diameter waste pipes) or Product Code WTBT40T (for 40mm diameter waste pipes).
2. Ensure you have all the necessary tools and materials for installation.
3. Remove any existing trap or fittings from the waste pipe.
4. Insert the telescopic ‘P’ Trap onto the waste pipe, ensuring a secure fit.
5. Tighten the outlet nut to secure the trap in place.
6. Check for any leaks by running water through the sink or basin. If leaks are detected, double-check the tightness of the connections and re-tighten if necessary.

Swivel PTrap Usage

To adjust the outlet angle of the Swivel P Trap, follow these steps:

1. Loosen the outlet nut by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Rotate the swivel outlet to the desired angle.
3. Tighten the outlet nut by turning it clockwise to secure the trap in the adjusted position.

Swivel S Trap and Bottle Trap Usage

The usage of Swivel S Traps and Bottle Traps is similar to that of Swivel P Traps. Follow the same installation and adjustment steps as mentioned above.
