Product Information
The product is a dual flush, height-adjustable syphon for toilet cisterns. It includes a close couple plate, thread back nut, flush valve, doughnut washer, bolts, wingnuts, height adjustment screw, base volume plugs, C link, top plug, and a suction unit. The flush volumes can be adjusted by removing the volume plugs. The product is manufactured by VIVA Sanitary Units.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, ensure that chlorine/bleach cleaners or related products are not added to the tank water as they can cause damage and void the warranty.
- Turn off the water supply before installing or removing toilet cistern parts.
- Insert the flush valve into the water tank.
- Slide the closed couple plate over the syphon thread and tighten it to the tank using the washer and nut.
- Fit the doughnut washer and bolts and secure the cistern to the pan with wingnuts.
- To adjust the height of the flush valve, twist the height adjustment screw to set it to the desired height.
- To remove the C link, rotate it until it becomes loose.
- Slide the stem through the base to access the suction unit.
- To adjust the flush volumes, remove the volume plugs as per the provided guide.
- To operate the flush valve, connect the C link to the toilet handle lever arm.
- For low-level installations, slide the back nut and conical washer over the flush pipe and insert the flush pipe into the base of the flush valve. Secure it with the back nut.
- To perform a full flush, depress and release the toilet handle lever arm. To perform a half flush, depress and hold the lever arm.
- Water will internally overflow into the toilet pan when the water level reaches the spillover point. To address this, remove the spring and clip, replace the diaphragm washer, secure the clip, and re-fit the spring.
- Ensure that the syphon does not pool around the C link when it fills, as this can disable the half-flush mechanism.
