  • 11/16” Wrench

CORSA recommends that the installation of this system be performed by a qualified service center or professional installer who has the necessary equipment, tools, and experienced personnel. However, if you decide to perform this installation yourself, the use of an additional person may be required.
WARNING: Never work on a hot engine bay. Allow time for the vehicle to cool.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Locate the stock PCV line and remove the quick disconnect fittings by pressing on the grey tabs and pulling.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Install barbed fittings and bracket to the catch can using an 11/16” wrench and 2.5mm Hex wrench.
    IMPORTANT: Corsa recommends using thread sealant or PTFE tape on barbed fittings and bottom drain plug to prevent any leaks.CORSA CC0011 Oil Catch

  2. Use a 10mm socket to loosen the bolt holding the coolant reservoir on the driver’s side of the engine bay up near the firewall.CORSA CC0011 Oil Catch Cans - firewall

  3. Once the bolt is loosened, pull the coolant reservoir from the two bolts extending out from the firewall.CORSA CC0011 Oil Catch Cans - coolant reservoir bolt

  4. Use the provided nut to attach the catch can bracket to the coolant reservoir bolt.CORSA CC0011 Oil Catch Cans - firewall and tighten

  5. Make sure the nut is tight enough so the catch can is secure in place. Push the coolant reservoir back over the bolts on the firewall and tighten the bolt that was loosened.CORSA CC0011 Oil Catch Cans - connect fittings

  6. Connect the shorter Hose A to the “A” side of the catch can and route it to the fitting coming out of the crankcase. Connect the longer Hose B to the “B” side of the catch can and route the line to the fitting going to the intake manifold. Make sure all quick connect fittings are secured in place and hose is pushed all the way over the barbed ends of the fittings.

Check that this catch can complies with your Federal, State and Local laws.
We recommend saving your stock PCV line.

BEFORE ROAD TESTING

  • Start engine, leaving the transmission in park and securing the parking brake.
  • Make sure to look and listen for any unusual noises or air leaks. Repair problems if needed.
  • Once completed it will be necessary to check periodically, after a few heat cycles, for realignment and tightening of all connections.

EMPTYING CATCH CAN: Twist off the bottom of the catch can and dispose of collected oil. It is recommended to check and empty the catch can with every oil change.
