Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the counterbalance valve with the ordering code CB-2A-X-Y-Z.
- To reduce the setting and release the load, use a 4.0 Hex. Turn the screw and rotate it clockwise.
- To ensure proper torque, use a 14.0 Hex. Torque and tighten it between 6 – 7 Nm.
- The control option allows for maximum extension from the locating shoulder. (Z=L Control shown)
- Refer to the illustrations for detailed information on the pilot, load, and valve.
- The maximum setting pressure should be 1.3 times the maximum load-induced pressure. For example, if the max setting pressure is 350 bar, the load pressure should be lower than 270 bar.
- The pressure setting can be adjusted within the ranges mentioned under OPTIONS.
- The pilot ratio varies depending on the configuration:
- X: 10: 1
- Y: 4.5: 1
- Z (with the sealed pilot): 2.3: 1
- There are adjustment ranges available for specific purposes:
- J: 140 – 350 bar (210 bar Standard Setting)
- K: 70 – 175 bar (140 bar Standard Setting)
- C: 140 – 350 bar (210 bar Standard Setting)
- D: 70 – 175 bar (140 bar Standard Setting)
- Additional options include:
- Leakproof hex. socket screw
