Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Connect the HDMI IN port of the Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater to the HDMI source device (e.g., DVD player or PS3) using an HDMI cable.

Step 2: Connect the HDMI OUT port of the Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater to the HDMI display device (e.g., TV or monitor) using an HDMI cable.

Note: Make sure the HDMI source device is capable of outputting power to the Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater via the HDMI cable.

Step 3: Once the connections are made, the Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater will automatically amplify and equalize the signals to improve the quality of the audio and video signal.

Step 4: The Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater supports transmission distances up to 8m at the resolution of 4K2K@50/60Hz(YUV_444), 15m at 4K2K@60Hz(YUV_420), and 20m at 1080p@60Hz.

Note: It is recommended to use surge protection systems to protect the sensitive electrical components of the Prestel RH2 HDMI 18Gbps Repeater from electrical spikes, surges, electric shock, lightning strikes, etc.

Introduction

The HDMI 18Gbps Repeater is the most advanc-ed solution for HDMI signal extension/cascade. It can amplify and equalize signals to improve the quality of audio and video signal. It supports the transmission distance up to 8m at the resolution of 4K2K@50/60Hz(YUV_444), 15m at 4K2K@ 60Hz(YUV_420) and 20m at 1080p@60Hz. Capable of receiving and transmitting 18Gbps bandwidth rate with CDR (Clock Data Recovery) to ensure no data loss.
