Sliding table 038563
The sliding table is used if the stroke length of the pull-push saw is not sufficient. After installation of the sliding table (chapter 3.1), the underfloor pull function can be used again as soon as the sliding table is fastened (chapter 3.5).

Assembly sliding table
Danger Only carry out adjustments on the sliding table when the saw
blade is stationary and the mains plug has been unplugged.
The sliding table 1 (Fig. 1) is installed on the left-hand side of the machine as follows:
-
Install the two clamping brackets 2 (Fig. 2) with the cylinder-head screws 4 (Fig. 3) and washers 5 on the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2). Be sure to use the outer pair of holes (see Fig. 2).
Note: Inner pair of holes is only for Erika 65. -
Lightly tighten the cylinder-head screws 4 (Fig. 3).
-
Install the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2) with the clamping brackets 2 on the left-hand dovetail guide of the table top by pushing the clamping brackets 2 into the dovetail guide (Fig. 3) from the side.
-
Tighten the cylinder-head screws 6 (Fig. 3) on the clamping devices.
-
Hook the support table 7 (Fig. 4) into the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2).
Adjustment sliding table
- For adjustment purposes, place the fence guide extension 8 (Fig. 5) of stop plate 9 onto the support table 7 (Fig. 4) with the fence guide extension projecting beyond the machine bench.
- Release the cylinder-head screws 4 (Fig. 3) on the guide tube 3 and the cylinder-head screws 6 on the clamping bracket 2.
- Using the adjusting screw 10 (Fig. 3), adjust the support table at the two clamping brackets 2 so that it stands parallel to the machine.
- Tighten the adjusting screw 10 with the hexagon nut of the screw.
- Using the adjusting screws 11 (Fig. 3), adjust the support table to max. 1 mm above the machine bench. Adjust the adjusting screws at both clamping brackets 2.
- Tighten the adjusting screw 11 with the hexagon nut of the screw.
- Tighten the cylinder-head screws 4 and the cylinder-head screws 6.
Disassembly sliding table
- Unhook the support table 7 (Fig. 4) from the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2).
- Loosen the cylinder-head screws 6 (Fig. 3) on the clamping bracket 2 (Fig. 2).
- Lift the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2) and push the clamping brackets 2 out of the dovetail guide.
- If the sliding table is later attached again at the same position, no adjustment will be necessary.
Handling sliding table
After installation and adjustment of the sliding table, you can install the
universal guide fence and the multi-purpose guide fence on the support table.
- Bring the saw unit in central position (circular saw bench function).
- Attach your workpieces at the above-mentioned fence guides.
- Switch on the machine and push the workpiece with the sliding table towards the saw blade.
Note: The sliding table is maintenance-free. Do not grease or oil the guide tube 3 (Fig. 2).
Use the underfloor pull function
To use the underfloor pull function, fasten the sliding table as follows:
- Clamp the support table 7 (Fig. 4) with the wing bolt 12 (Fig. 6).
Fence guide extension 203396 and telescopic rod 038309
The fence guide extension is used to fasten longer workpieces. In addition, with the drop stop that is included in the delivery, the fence guide extension can also be used as length fence. The telescopic rod extends the fence guide extension (1 m) to 1.8 m. This also allows an extension of the length fence to 1.8 m. The support plate at the telescopic rod is used to support the workpiece.
Danger Only carry out adjustments on the fence guide extension when the saw blade is stationary and the mains plug has been unplugged.
Installation fence guide extension on multi-purpose guide fence
The fence guide extension 13 (Fig. 7) is mounted on the multi-purpose
extension as follows:
- Remove the fence extension 14 (Fig. 8).
- First install the clamping nut 15 with the cylinder-head screw 16 on the stop plate. The clamping nut is additionally required to absorb the longitudinal forces occurring when using the drop stop.
- Swivel the guide fence to 45° for installation.
- When installing on the table: Slide the fence guide extension 13 onto the guide fence until the rear edge of the cut-out rests against the short fence extension 14.1 (see Fig. 7). This ensures that the scale in the fence extension matches the saw blade at every angle setting.
- When the sliding table is used, it cannot be ensured that the scale in the fence extension matches the saw blade at every angle setting.
Installation fence guide extension on universal guide fence
The fence guide extension 13 (Fig. 7) is installed on the universal guide
fence as follows:
- Remove the fence extension 17 (Fig. 9).
- First install the clamping nut 15 with the cylinder-head screw 16 on the stop plate. The clamping nut is additionally required to absorb the longitudinal forces occurring when using the drop stop.
- Slide the fence guide extension 13 (Fig. 7) onto the guide fence.
Further application options
Stop plate and fence guide extension in conjunction with further items from
the optional accessory program offer the following applications:
- Fence guide extension as cross stop and mitre stop:
- The scale in the fence guide extension 13 (Fig. 10) shows an offset of 5 mm. With this offset, the trimming dimension can be accurately set with the drop stop 18 if the distance between fence guide extension and saw blade is also 5 mm.
- With the telescopic rod 19, the trimming range can be extended to approx. 1.80 m. The support plate 20 that is included in the delivery serves as workpiece support.
- Fence guide extension as parallel guide fence
- The clamping device 21 (Fig. 11) offers an additional means of fastening for the fence guide extension. For this, introduce the clamping device 21 at the bottom into the groove of the fence guide extension 13 (Fig. 10) and clamp it onto the dovetail guide.
Extension table 208438/ 208439
Use the extension table to saw larger workpieces. This increases the supporting surface of the workpiece and thus makes sawing easier.
Danger If the extension table is loaded too much, there is a risk of the circular saw bench overturning.
Installation extension table
Danger Only carry out adjustments on the extension table when the saw
blade is stationary and the mains plug has been unplugged.
The extension table 22 (Fig. 12) is usually installed on the right-hand side
of the tabletop as follows:
- Clean the dovetail guides at the tabletop and at the two support rails 23 with a clean cloth.
- Slide the support rails from the side into the dovetail guide so that the scale can be read from above.
- Slide the support rails into the desired position. It would make sense if the two zero points of the scales matched at this point.
- Tighten the cylinder-head screws 24 (Fig. 13) in the area of the tabletop with a hexagon socket wrench (AF5).
- Push the extension table 22 (Fig. 12) between the support rails.
- Tighten the remaining cylinder-head screws 24 (Fig. 13) in the area of the extension table.
Extension kit with wheels 202889
The extension kit with wheels is used for retrofitting the Erika 70. As with
the Erika 85, it is possible to move the machine by lifting it on the opposite
side of the add-on wheels.
Danger Only move the machine when the saw blade is stationary and the
mains plug has been unplugged.
Installation extension kit with wheels
- Install the wheels 25 according to Fig. 14. on both sides of the rear tubular frame 26. Make sure that the two indents engage in the drilling.
