When the temperature sensor detects the ambient temperature to be less than 30°C, the fan speed will run automatically at the previously selected speed setting.
Note: When the temperature sensor detects the ambient humidity is lower than the selected setting, fan will work at a Low (L) speed.
Note: When the unit is operating in defrost mode, the unit will run at High (H) speed.

  4. To select room relative humidity (RH) ratios, press the HUMID button to select 40%~60%~80%~CON (continuous dehumidification) respectively.

Note: When the ambient relative humidity is 1% lower than the selected relative humidity ratio percentage (RH %), the unit compressor will switch off and unit will operate at a Low (L) speed level.

Note: When the ambient relative humidity is 5% higher than the selected relative humidity ratio percentage (RH %), the unit will switch on and unit will operate at the selected SPEED setting.

PRODUCT SAFETY FEATURES

Automatic Defrosting
To ensure the unit operates and performs as stated, the unit has been designed with an Automatic defrost function as frost can be produced on the surface of the evaporator in low temperatures.

When the temperature sensor detects the room temperature has dropped to 16°C or lower, the Auto Defrost function will start and the DEFROST indicator light will illuminate. The unit compressor will run for 25 minutes on dehumidification mode and then the fan will run at high speed in 7-minute cycles to defrost the unit.

Note: The dehumidification symbol will switch off when the unit is in Defrost mode.

Protection Of Extremely Low & High Temperature
The unit is built with a room temperature sensor that will automatically shut off the unit when the ambient temperature is either less than or equal to 0°C or greater than or equal to 40°C. When the sensor is activated there will be a continuous warning beeper which will beep 3 long and 2 short beeps. The dehumidification symbol will illuminate.

Note: The unit will not be operable when the sensor is activated, to restart the unit, unplug the unit, and restart it again.

Failure of Humidity & Temperature Sensor
When the connection wire between the humidity and temperature sensor is disconnected, the humidity CON light will blink and switch the unit into continuous dehumidifying mode.

If the temperature evaporator sensor becomes an open circuit or short circuit the DEFROST light will start blinking. Unit will operate in a humidifying and defrosting mode, dehumidifying for 20 minutes and then defrosting for 5 minutes.

Note: If the temperature evaporator senor malfunctions, the unit will continue to work but at a lower efficiency.

Compressor Protection
If the unit malfunctions during the operation of the unit and the compressor fails, the compressor will switch off. Wait a minimum of three minutes to reoperate the unit.

Memory Function

If the power is cut off during the operation of the appliance, the unit will memorize the working mode automatically. Once power is restored to the unit, the appliance will restart and continue working at the last set of working mode.

Note: If the ON/OFF timer has been set and activated, the unit will restart at the original operating mode, not at the previous set mode.
Note: If the power supply is cut off due to one of the safety features being activated, the unit will not restart at the previous set mode.

OPTIONAL CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE INSTALLATION

  1. Ensure that the unit is OFF and unplugged from a wall socket.
  2. Remove water reservoir out and connect the water drain hose to spigot (continuous drainage outlet) as shown in Figure 2.
  3. The other end of this hose must be placed over a water drain.
Note: For the unit to drain correctly, no part of the hose should be above the level of the water spigot (continuous drainage outlet).CLI-MATE-
