  • PLEASE READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

  • When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
    WARNING : DO NOT COVER THE HEATER.
    WARNING : TO AVOID THE RISK OF

  • ELECTRICAL SHOCK, FIRE OR INJURY TO PEOPLE, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE HEATER IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE RELOCATING, SERVICING, OR CLEANING IT.
    WARNING : TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, KEEP TEXTILES, CURTAINS, OR ANY OTHER FLAMMABLE MATERIAL A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 1M FROM THE AIR OUTLET.
    CAUTION : SOME PARTS OF THIS PRODUCT CAN BECOME VERY HOT AND CAUSE BURNS. PARTICULAR ATTENTION HAS TO BE TAKEN WHERE CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE ARE PRESENT.

  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

  • The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

  • The appliance must have a minimum 50cm clearance around all sides of the appliance. We recommend a 1- meter clearance around the heat radiator side of the appliance.

  • Children must be supervised not to play with the appliance.

  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  • Do not leave children alone or unattended in the area where the appliance is in use.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless continuously supervised.

  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Operating the product in any other position could cause a hazard.

  • In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

  • Do not use this heater to dry or heat clothes.

  • Ensure the heater is not located immediately below a socket-outlet.

  • Do not use this heater near water or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Do not use the heater in damp areas.

  • Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the interior of the heater, as this could create a fire and/or electrical hazard.

  • This heater is intended for indoor household use and similar applications. Do not use outdoors.

  • Never leave the heater unattended while in use. Always turn the heater off and unplug when not in use.

  • Do not use the heater while sleeping or place it near a person who is sleeping.

  • Do not place this heater near flammable materials, surfaces or substances. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the heater.

  • Use the heater in a well-ventilated area.

  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving the heater. Use gloves or oven mitts to avoid serious injury.

  • Prior to cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.

  • Allow the heater to thoroughly cool down before handling or cleaning.

  • Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents, as heater damage will occur.

  • To disconnect the heater from the mains power, first turn the controls to the OFF position and then remove the plug from the socket.

  • Ensure the heater is switched off and the power cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning the heater.

  • Never insert fingers or metal objects into the vents and openings of the heater.

  • Do not push any objects in the air inlet and outlet grills as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage the heater.

  • Avoid placing the power cord in areas where it can become a tripping hazard. Do not place the power cord under carpeting or cover it with rugs, runners or similar.

  • To avoid a circuit overload when using this heater, do not operate another high-wattage heater on the same electrical circuit.

  • Always plug the heater directly into a wall socket. Avoid using extension leads where possible as they may overheat and cause a risk of fire.

  • Do not use this appliance with an external programmer, timer switch or any other devise which would switch the device on automatically unless this has already been pre-built into the appliance by the manufacturer.

  • Do not kink or wrap the power cord and plug around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken or split, particularly where it enters the appliance.

  • Ensure the mains cable is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with any part of the appliance.

  • Do not pull on the mains cable. Never move, carry or hang the appliance by the mains cable.

  • The heater should not be used in a room, of which the floor area is less than 5m².

  • Do not operate the appliance with any safety guards removed.

  • Do not operate the appliance if there are signs of damage to the appliance, power cord, or any of the accessories.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical elements in the appliance. Doing so may be unsafe and will void your warranty.

  • Ensure that the mains supply (including voltage, frequency and power) complies with the rating label of the appliance.

  • Do not use the appliance near petrol, paints, flammable gases, ovens, or other heating sources.

  • The heater can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under constant supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value. Children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years should not plug in, regulate and clean the heater or perform user maintenance.

  • Keep the heater out of reach of children and pets.

  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.

  • Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.

  • Never place anything on top of the heater.

  • There may be trace of odour during the first few minutes of initial use. This is normal and will quickly disappear.

  • Do not place the heater against a wall or other heaters.

  • Do not use the heater in high humidity or steam filled rooms.

  • Do not cover, obstruct or push objects into the vents and opening of the heater as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage the heater.

  • Do not operate the heater with wet hands.

  • The temperature of this heater, if placed too close may become intense enough to burn exposed skin. Use of this heater is not recommended for persons with reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to react to avoid burns.

  • The mains cable should not hang down from the surface on which the heater is placed in order to prevent the heater from being pulled down.

BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This product is supplied with Button Cell – CR2025 Li-ion disposable batteries.
  • PLEASE READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
  • BATTERY WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Choking hazard. Do not swallow. Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

  • This product only uses a Button Cell – CR2025 Li-ion battery. It is not compatible with other battery types.
  • Do not allow children to handle batteries.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • Ensure that the battery is installed with the correct polarity (+ and –).
  • Remove exhausted battery promptly.
  • Always inspect new batteries before use. Damaged or weak batteries may leak acid. Discontinue use if batteries show signs of leakage, damage, or weakness at any time.
  • Ensure the battery compartment is correctly and securely closed after installing the batteries.
  • Wash hands after handling batteries.
  • Disposable batteries are not rechargeable and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Always dispose of batteries at an official collection point and according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.

Note:

  • The heater can be controlled by both the remote control and the control panel.
  • A ‘beep’ emits from the control panel or remote control every time a button is pressed. To mute this sound, hold down the increase and decrease buttons for five seconds. Repeat to turn the ‘beep’ sound back on.
  • The remote can be stored in the ‘remote control storage slot’ when not in use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly:

  • Turn the body of the heater upside down on a scratch resistant and stable surface.
  • Place the foot bases over the holes on each side of the heater.
  • Fix the foot bases in place by screwing in four screws on each side.

Turning the heater on and off:

  • Plug the heater in to the wall and flip the on/off switch to turn the heater on. The heater is now in stand-by mode and the stand-by button and timer button will light up.
  • Press the stand-by button. The appliance will emit a ‘beep’, the rest of the buttons will light up and the appliance is ready for use. When the heater turns on, it will be on its highest power setting.
  • To turn the heater off, press the stand-by button. The heater will return to standby mode and the control panel screen will turn off.
  • Flip the on/off switch to turn the heater off completely.

Adjusting the heat settings:

  • Press the mode button to cycle through the power modes of high , medium , low , and eco modes.
  • In eco mode, the ‘ECO’ display will be lit up and the heater’s power will automatically adjust to keep the room at the temperature that has been set as the thermostat setting. When the set temperature has been reached, the heater will turn off. When the room temperature drops below the set temperature, it will turn back on again.

Adjusting the thermostat settings:

  • If you don’t set the thermostat, in eco mode the default thermostat temperature is 23°.
  • If you set the thermostat temperature, the heater will be in eco mode regardless of the power setting you choose.
  • The thermostat temperature setting range is between 10°C and 30°C.

To set the heater’s thermostat, follow the below steps:

  • Press the thermostat button. The temperature display will start blinking.
  • Use the increase and decrease buttons to set your desired temperature.
  • The temperature display will stop blinking and the chosen temperature will appear on screen. The heater will maintain the temperature in the room by switching on and off automatically.

Setting the timer:
To set a timer for the heater to automatically turn on, follow the below steps:

  • While the heater is in standby mode, press the timer button. The display will flash ‘0.0’.
  • Use the increase and decrease buttons to set a time between 1 and 24 hours. The time will increase in 0.5 hour increments until it reaches 5 hours, and then it will increase by 1-hour increments until it reaches 24 hours.
  • The timer button will blink until the time is set. The number of hours remaining will show on the display.
  • The heater will automatically turn on when the heater display reaches ‘0.0’ again

To set a timer for the heater to automatically turn off, follow the below steps:

  • While the heater is on, press the timer button. The display will flash ‘0.0’.
  • Use the increase and decrease buttons to set a time between 1 and 24 hours. The time will increase in 0.5-hour increments until it reaches 5 hours, and then it will increase by 1-hour increments until it reaches 24 hours.
  • The heater will automatically turn off when the heater’s display reaches ‘0.0’.

Your Heater’s Safety Guards:

  • Your heater will automatically turn off when it is not upright. This is to prevent damage to your home and your heater will turn back on when it is in its normal upright position.
  • Your heater will automatically turn off when the appliance has overheated. This may be because something is covering the heater. Unplug the appliance and wait 30 minutes for it to cool. If there is no damage to the unit, cord, or plug, plug the unit back in and use as normal.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • WARNING: ALWAYS TURN THE HEATER OFF, UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET, AND ALLOW THE APPLIANCE TO COMPLETELY COOL DOWN BEFORE HANDLING OR CLEANING IT.
  • WARNING: ALLOW THE HEATER TO COOL DOWN FOR 2 HOURS (120 MINUTES) BEFORE CLEANING.
  • CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE HEATER, AS THIS COULD CREATE A FIRE AND/OR ELECTRICAL HAZARD.
  • CAUTION: DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SOLVENTS, AS HEATER DAMAGE WILL OCCUR
  1. Do not attempt to clean the heater in any other way than that detailed by the manufacturer.
  2. Clean the exterior surface of the heater by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Dry the heater with a soft clean cloth.
  3. Clean the air inlet and outlet grills regularly with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment to avoid any dust build-up.
  4. To store your product out of season, we recommend using the original or similar size box.
  5. Do not kink or wrap the power cord and plug around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken or split, particularly where it enters the appliance.
  6. Store the heater in a safe, clean and dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children when not in use.

RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL

Waste electrical and electronic products (WEEE), batteries, accumulators and packaging should not be disposed of with general household waste. This is to prevent possible harm to the environment and human well-being and to help conserve our natural resources. Most electrical products with a plug, battery, or cable can be recycled. Contact your local council, household waste disposal service, or the store where you purchased the product for information regarding the collection schemes in your area.
