ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: ONLY OPERATE THE RADIATOR IN ITS NORMAL UPRIGHT POSITION WITH THE CASTOR WHEELS FITTED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT

  1. Unpack the castor wheels and arc-shaped brackets from the heater packaging.
  2. Turn the radiator upside-down on a scratch-free and stable surface to prevent damage to the paint finish or your floor surfacing.
  3. Fit the two (2) castor wheels onto the radiator by placing the arc-shaped brackets between the outermost radiator fins on each side of the radiator.
  4. Securely fasten the two (2) castor wheels onto the radiator by screwing two (2) wing nuts onto each foot.
  5. Turn the radiator back upright once the castor wheels have been fitter

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the heater upright on a flat, steady and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Turn the thermostat dial anti-clockwise to LOW and ensure the power switch is ‘O’ OFF.
  3. Insert the plug into a suitable socket.
  4. Turn the power switch dial clockwise to the desired power:
    • ‘•’ – Low Heat
    • ‘• •’ – Medium Heat
    • ‘• • •’ – High Heat
  5. Turn the thermostat dial clockwise until you hear a click and the light turns on. The position of the click indicates the temperature of the room. Turning the thermostat clockwise will keep the radiator on until the room gets warmer. Turning it anti-clockwise will turn it off until the room has cooled to a lower temperature and then it will switch on. The radiator automatically rotates through an on-and-off cycle to maintain the current room temperature according to the thermostat’s setting. It is normal for it to heat up and cool down periodically.
  6. To turn off the heater, turn the power switch dial anti-clockwise to “O” OFF.
  7. Unplug the heater from the electrical outlet when it is left unattended or is not in use.

Note: It is normal for the radiator to make crackling noises when first turned on.

TIMER FUNCTION

Timer
TIMER FUNCTION

The heater can be set to turn ON and OFF at specific times of the day. There are 96 segments around the dial. Each of these segments represent a 15-minute time period.

Setting the Timer

Note: When you first use the heater, all the segments should point outwards. (See Figure 1)

Note: Do not turn the dial anti-clockwise

  1. Plug the heater in.
  2. Set the power and temperature to the desired settings.
  3. The triangular point will stay fixed, turn the dial clockwise around it so that the triangular point is pointing at the current time of day.
  4. Push the segments inwards for the time period you want the heater to be turned on (See Figure 2)
  5. The heater will now cycle on and off according to these settings.
  6.  Once unplugged, the heater timer will stop and need to be reset.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

WARNING: ALWAYS TURN THE HEATER OFF, UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET AND ALLOW THE HEATER TO COMPLETELY COOL DOWN BEFORE HANDLING OR CLEANING IT.

WARNING: ALLOW THE HEATER TO COOL DOWN FOR 2 HOURS (120 MINUTES) BEFORE CLEANING.

CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE APPLIANCE, AS THIS COULD CREATE A FIRE AND/OR ELECTRICAL HAZARD.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SOLVENTS, AS THIS CAN DAMAGE YOUR HEATER

  • Do not attempt to clean the appliance in any other way than that detailed by the manufacturer.
  • Clean the exterior surface of the heater by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Dry the heater with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Clean the vent and openings of the appliance regularly with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment to avoid any dust build-up.
  • To store your heater, we recommend using the original or a similar-sized box.
  • Do not kink or wrap the power cord and plug around the heater, as this may cause the insulation to weaken or split, particularly where it enters the appliance.
  • Store the heater in a safe, clean and dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children when not in use.
