  • Use this product only as described in this manual.

BATTERIES

This product is supplied with 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries.

WARNING: KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Choking hazard. Do not swallow. Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. If you suspect your child has swallowed a battery seek medical attention immediately.

  • This product only uses 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries. It is not compatible with other battery types.
  • Do not allow children to handle batteries.
  • Ensure that the batteries are installed with the correct polarity (+ and –).
  • Remove exhausted battery promptly.
  • Always inspect new batteries before use. Damaged or weak batteries may leak acid. Discontinue use if batteries show signs of leakage, damage, or weakness at any time.
  • Ensure the battery compartment is correctly and securely closed after installing the batteries.
  • Wash hands after handling batteries.
  • Disposable batteries are not rechargeable and must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not throw batteries away with household waste. Always dispose of batteries at an official collection point.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Activating Batteries

  1. Turn the scale over and place on a dry and flat surface.
  2. Pull the plastic tab out from the battery compartment.

Replacing Batteries

  1. Carefully remove the battery cover on the underside of the scale.
  2. Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries into the compartment as per the directions indicated.
  3. After inserting the batteries, replace the battery cover.

Weighing/Volume Measuring

  1. Place the scale on a solid and level surface.
  2. Press POWER button to turn on.
  3. Press UNIT button to set the weighing mode when the LED display shows “0”.
  4. Place your weighing receptacle on the scale if required, the LED display will show the weight of the receptable.
  5. Press POWER button to reset the weight to zero.
  6. Load the weighing object on the scale (or pour liquid into the container) to start weighing. The LED display will show the weight/volume reading.
  7. Note: Press UNIT button to convert the mode or unit after the scale is turned on.

Zero Or Tare

Zero or tare can be used to weigh different loads cumulatively without removing the loads from the scale.

  • ZERO MODE: If the total loaded weight is below 200g, the symbol O (zero weight) will show. Once a weight as been loaded onto the scale, you can press ZERO to reset the LED display to “0” before adding the next load. This can be used repeatedly.
  • TARE MODE: When the total loaded weight is more than 200g, the symbol T (tare weight) will show. In TARE mode you can reset the LED to ZERO and can also track the cumulative total of the different loads being weighed. To do this: Add the first load to the scale and press POWER. This LED display will reset to “0”. Press POWER again to see the cumulative weight of all loads. This cycle can be repeated until the maximum load is reached.

Error Codes

  • ‘Err’: The scales are overloaded, and the maximum weight has been exceeded. Remove object(s) from the scale to avoid damaging the sensor.
  • ‘—-’: The measuring is not stable, please wait for a moment.
  • ‘Lo’: Batteries are low and need replacing.

Switching Off

Auto switch-off: If no operation is made in two minutes, the scale will switch off automatically. Manual switch-off: Long press POWER to turn off the scale manually to maximise battery life.
