Product Information
The product is a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device used by network engineers, network administrators, and field technicians. Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the device to an 802.3bt standard or passive 90W PSE or PoE switch.
- Check that the PoE Load Indicator is solid green to ensure proper function before installation.
- Connect a CAT5/5e/6 cable with the RJ45 connector into the RJ45 socket labeled PoE In. The total Ethernet cable length should not exceed 100 meters.
- Connect a CAT5/5e/6 cable with the RJ45 connector into the RJ45 sockets labeled PoE 1, PoE 2, PoE 3, and PoE 4. On the other end of the cable, connect it to your PoE powered device (PD) such as IP cameras.
- If needed, daisychain two units of the device to reach a maximum distance of 300 meters from end to end or use a star topology to power up to 7 PDs.
- If the device is placed in an outdoor environment, it is recommended to install it in a waterproof case with a height of 45cm if possible.

The installation Guide for EN-PEX4GBC and mainly introduces the hardware
specification, installation methods, and precautions of the installation.
There may be differences in the appearance and configuration from other
models. All product images in this manual are for illustration purposes only
and may differ from the actual product.

Introduction
EN-PEX04GBC is a 4-port Gigabit PoE extender, can deliver power and transmit
data to 4 802.3af/at PDs simultaneously, total power budget is 71W. It is
powered by an ultra 802.3bt/PoE++ switch or PSE, does not need an external
power adapter. The typical power input is 90W. The total effective distance
from data source to PD is 200 meters over CAT5e/CAT6 cables. Daisycha in 2
units reaching 300m from end to end or by star topology can power up 7 PDs.
Equipped a USB-C port, which can deliver power to mobile phone tablet or USB-C
devices. Designed with OVP, OCP, SCP function.

Installation Preparation
Package Contents
Open the box of the EN-PEX4GBC and carefully unpack it, the box should
contain the following items
Inspection
- Connect the device to an 802.3bt standard or passive 90W PSE or PoE switch and check the PoE Load Indicator is solid green to ensure proper function before installation.
- Connect the PoE port to the PoE powered device(PD). Such as the IP Cameras or Wireless APs. As showed in Figure 2-1；
Caution
Please use PoE powered device(PD) that complies with IEEE802.3af/at to connect
this product. Can not feed non-802.3af/at standard PD, nor 24Vdc PD.25
Caution
- Please read the instructions carefully and follow the standard operating procedures before using.
- Please place it in a well ventilated and dry area, and it is for indoor use only.
- Connect a CAT5/5e/6 cable with the RJ45 connector into the RJ45 socket labeled PoE In.The total Ethernet cable length can not exceed 100 meters.
- Connect a CAT5/5e/6 cable with the RJ45 connector into the RJ45 socket labeled PoE 1,PoE2, PoE3 and PoE4. On the other end of the CAT5e/6 cable, connect to your PoE powered Device (PD, such as IP Cameras etc). The total Ethernet cable length can not exceed 100 meters.
- Daisychain 2 units reaching 300m from end to end or by star topology can power up 7 PDs.
- The device must be placed on a stable surface, preferably affixed and mounted permanently. Do not leave it “dangling” and use plugged in cables in tension as support. Drops, falls, and impacts experienced by the injector can compromise the internal components & cause premature failure.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of this injector. Allow at least 5cm of clearance on all sides of the device for heat ventilation / natural convection.
Installation
Inspect the installed equipment before putting it into operation
- Make sure the PD is compliant with our product.
- Make sure the Ethernet cable connection is correct.
- Make sure all connections are correct, inspect all the indicators.
Caution
If it is placed in an outdoor environment, please install the device in a
waterproof case with a height of 45cm if possible. Waterproof Ethernet cables
should be with a protective sheath. CAT5e/6 cables are recommended.
