Quick Guide for the Neoprobe® GDS System
Utilizing Wireless Probes With Bluetooth® II Technology
Powering On The Neoprobe® GDS Console And Probe
- Press Power Button on console.
- Insert CR123 Lithium Ion Battery in either direction into probe and close cap.
- Press Probe Button to power up.
- Mode Indicator LED on probe will illuminate solid blue.
Linking Wireless Probe To Console For The First Time
- Console displays “ .”
- Press and hold Target Count Button on console. Console displays “ ”
- Once linked, Mode Indicator LED on probe flashes blue.
Linking Wireless Probe To Console (Subsequent Links To Same Unit)
- Press Power Button on console. Confirm “ ” is displayed on the screen.
- Power up probe by pressing Probe Button. It will automatically link to console within five seconds.
Relinking The Probe After Sleep Mode
- To conserve battery power, probe will go into sleep mode if no radiation has been detected or if the Probe Button has not been pressed for 10 minutes.
- Press Probe Button to “awaken.” Probe will automatically relink to console within five seconds.
