SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions carefully. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- When using electrical and electronic appliances, basic precautions must always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- This symbol means “caution, hot surface”. The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in operation.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Position the appliance in such a way to avoid spillage of hot liquids. Be especially careful with the handle.
- Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specified in the rating label of the appliance.
- We recommend that the room where you intend to use the appliance is equipped with a working extractor fan or is well ventilated.
- Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and be dangerous for the user. Use the appliance only for the purposes described in this manual.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before moving it, carrying out any cleaning or maintenance task, or when not in use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Do not use extension cords, unless advised by a qualified electrician. Using the wrong type of extension cable could cause damage to the appliance or injuries to the user.
- Do not use the appliance if its cable, plug, or housing are damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- The appliance should not be used in potentially dangerous locations, such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres.
- Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Be careful when placing the basket out of the air fryer. Place the handle inwards to prevent spillage of what’s inside. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.
- Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings, as it could cause electrical shock or fire.
- Do not fill the basket with oil to avoid causing a fire hazard.
- Do not touch the interior of the appliance while in operation.
- Always place the ingredients to be cooked inside the basket to prevent them from touching the heating elements.
- Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use or when it is being cleaned. Allow it to cool down completely before attaching or removing parts and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance unsupervised while plugged to the mains.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure the appliance operates properly.
- Do not place the appliance against the wall. Leave a safety distance of 10 cm on the back of the appliance and 10 cm on each side. Do not place any object on top of the appliance when in use.
- Hot steam is released through the air outlet openings during operation. Keep your hands and face at a safety distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Hot air may come out when removing the basket from inside the appliance.
- Immediately unplug the appliance if you notice black smoke coming out of it. Wait until the smoke disappears to remove the basket from the appliance.
- We recommend the use of gloves when touching the basket and rack.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

BEFORE USE
- This air fryer has a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging box and other packaging materials in a safe place. It will help you prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good condition. If there is any piece missing or in bad condition, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
First cleaning
- Remove all packaging stickers and labels from the air fryer, including the adhesive tape that secures the basket to the air fryer.
- To remove the basket for cleaning, remove the adhesive tape that holds it in place. Hold the air fryer with one hand and pull from the handle with the other.
- Thoroughly clean the basket and rack with hot water, dishwashing liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the inside and outside of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
Warnings
- Do not wet the heating element inside the fryer.
- Do not fill the air fryer with oil or any other liquid.
- Do not place the appliance on any surface that it is not heat resistant.
- You may notice a slight smell of burning or smoke when using the fryer for the first time, caused by residues from the manufacturing process. This will not affect the safety of the fryer or the user’s.
OPERATION
- Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
- Place the rack in the basket and put it in the air fryer.
- Plug the air fryer into a power outlet.
- Press the power icon to turn the air fryer on.
- Press the icon corresponding to the desired default menu. The display will show the default temperature and time for the selected menu.
- Press the Temperature/Time swap icon to adjust the temperature and time. To do so, press the Temperature/Time increase icon or the Temperature/Time decrease icon.
- Press the Preheating icon and/or the Stirring Reminder icon to enable or disable these functions. When these functions are enabled, they appear in red on the display. The Preheating and Stirring Reminder functions are enabled by default.
If the Preheating function is enabled:

A. Press the Start icon
The display will show PREHEAT and the air fryer will start preheating. The preheating time is 2 minutes. Once preheated, the fryer will beep and the display will show Add Food to indicate that you can now add the food to be cooked.
WARNING: The basket will be hot! Do not touch the surfaces of the basket when hot. Use the handle. -
B. Carefully remove the basket, place the food inside, and place the basket back in the air fryer to automatically start the cooking process.
NOTE: If you do not remove the basket, the appliance will start the cooking time after 5 seconds.
If the Preheating function is disabled:
Remove the basket, place the food in it, and put it back in the air fryer.
If the Stirring Reminder function is enabled:

A. Halfway through the cooking time, the air fryer will beep, and the display will show “Turn Food” prompting to stir the food.

B. Carefully remove the basket from the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface.

C. Stir and turn the food over with non-metal tongs.
-
D. Return the basket to the air fryer to automatically resume cooking.
NOTE: If you do not remove the basket, cooking will continue. -
E. When the selected cooking time has elapsed, the air fryer will beep, and the display will show End.

F. Carefully remove the basket from the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Remove the food from the basket using non-metal tongs.
NOTE: The fan will run for a further 30 seconds.
WARNING: Always be careful with hot steam when removing the basket during and after cooking! The basket and the food will still be hot! Do not touch the hot surfaces of the basket or air fryer. Do not use sharp or metal utensils that may scratch the non-stick surface. Do not turn the basket upside down to prevent the excess oil from accumulating on the bottom of the basket from dripping onto the food.
STOPPING THE COOKING PROCESS
Press the Stop icon to stop cooking and press the Start icon to resume
cooking. The air fryer will stop if you remove the basket during cooking. If
you place the basket back into the air fryer, cooking will resume
automatically. Press the Stop icon twice to stop the cooking.
TURNING OFF THE AIR FRYER
Hold down the power icon to turn the air fryer off. Unplug the air fryer from
the power outlet when not in use.
Indicators:
- “PREHEAT”: preheating enabled.
- “TURN”: stirring reminder enabled.
- “ADD FOOD”: the fryer is preheated and you can now add food.
- “TURN FOOD”: reminder to stir the food.
- “END”: the cooking time is over.
Muting the air fryer
- To mute the air fryer, hold down the Stop icon.
- To unmute the air fryer, hold down the Stop icon.
NOTE: The fryer will beep to guide you through the cooking process.
Note As ingredients differ in origin, size, shape, and brand, we cannot guarantee the best setting for the ingredients that you are using. If necessary, change the times and/or temperature values to adjust the cooking to the type of ingredient.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
- Clean the fryer after every use.
- Unplug the air fryer from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Do not use metallic tools or abrasive products to clean the basket and grill.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the fryer.
- Never immerse the fryer in water or other liquids.
- Do not use sponges, powder cleaners or abrasive cleaning products to clean the fryer.
Note
- Remove the basket to allow the appliance to cool down more quickly.
- Clean the fryer thoroughly with hot water, soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- The use of a degreasing liquid is recommended to remove any remains.
- If there is dirt stuck in the interior of the basket and the rack, we recommend filling the basket with hot water mixed with detergent, as this will make it easier to remove the dirt.
- Clean the interior of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a soft cleaning brush to remove any food residue. Be careful not to damage the heating element.
Storage
- Unplug the fryer and let it cool down.
- Make sure all parts are clean and dry when you store it.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The set temperature is too low.| Press the increase and/or decrease icon to
set the desired temperature.
Cooking time is too short.| Press the increase and/or decrease icon to adjust
the cooking time as desired.
Food is unevenly cooked.| Some types of food should be stirred halfway through
the cooking time.| Foods that are placed on top of each other or in front of
each other (e.g., chips) should be stirred halfway through the cooking time.
Food isn’t crisp enough.| The food is meant to be cooked with a traditional
fryer.| Use foods meant to be cooked in air fryers for a crispier result.

White smoke comes out of the air fryer.| You are cooking very fatty food.|
When cooking fatty food in the air fryer, a large amount of oil will leak onto
the base of the basket. The oil produces white smoke and the basket may become
hotter than normal. This does not affect the air fryer or the result.
The white smoke is caused by the fat heating up in the basket. Be sure to clean the basket thoroughly after every use.
The basket contains traces of fat from previous uses.
Chips are unevenly cooked.| Using quality potatoes will ensure even cooking.|
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they stay put during frying.
Potatoes are too starchy.| Rinse the potatoes well and dry them to remove the
starch on the outside.
Chips are fried unevenly in the appliance.| The crispiness of the chips
depends on the amount of oil and water they contain.| Be sure to dry the
potatoes well before adding the oil. Cut the potatoes into smaller pieces for
a crispier result. Add a little more oil for a crispier result.
