RUBTILER RRT Premium Rubber Tile
Product Information
The Rubber Tile is a versatile flooring option suitable for various applications. It is designed to provide durability, flexibility, and resistance to wear and tear. The tiles are available in different sizes, colors, and shapes to accommodate different installation needs. The product is made of high-quality rubber material that ensures long-lasting performance and easy maintenance. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, carefully inspect the product for any manufacturing defects, correct color, and size. Notify an RUBTILER distributor or representative immediately if any defects are found. Once the flooring has been installed, it is considered accepted.
- Ensure that the substrate, such as permanently dried concrete or wood, is suitable for installation. Other substrates may also be suitable, but it is recommended to consult with an expert.
- Clean the substrate from dirt, dust, and debris before installation, as these can interfere with the final surface. Eliminate any moisture in the substrate prior to installation, as it can negatively affect the rubber tiles/mats.
- The tiles can be adhered to the substrate using double-faced tape or non-caustic glue/adhesive. In some cases, silicon glue may be sufficient. Gluing all tiles to the floor is not necessary and depends on the specific installation needs and product shape. It is recommended to glue down at least the tiles/mats placed on the edges of the entire covered area.
- There are two main methods of installing square tiles: a) Diagonal tiles layout, tile to tile. b) Running bond like a brick wall, which is the recommended method.
- While installing, gently push the tiles/mats against each other, avoiding excessive force that may cause bulges.
- For additional tile connection, plastic pins can be used. Ensure that the thickness of the tiles is at least 25mm and that there are 2 or 4 pin holes on only two sides of the tiles. Connect the tiles with plastic pins, which are available in lengths of 55 or 70 mm. Some tiles/mats may also have a Four Pin Plate Connector option for connecting tiles on the corners from the bottom.
- In areas exposed to intense or direct sunlight, it is important to protect the product during conditioning, installation, and usage by covering the light source. Excessive UV rays can lead to fading, degradation, color variation, and crumbling. If you plan to expose the tiles/mats to direct sunlight, inquire about the UV protection option.
- When cleaning the flooring, use only water and gentle wash detergents. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming with a soft end brush are allowed. Avoid using plastic finisher ends, as they can cause shredding and grinding of the surface.
- Avoid getting the flooring too wet, as this may have an adverse effect on the installed tiles/mats and adhesive system.
- If you have any doubts or questions, contact your RUBTILER partner for assistance.

Under normal interior conditions (in temperature between 18ºC and 26ºC), the rubber flooring is very stable and will not expand or shrink, but because it is rubber, it can stretch. Please be aware that our rubber tiles/mats standards allow a tolerance up to 5mm on dimensions.
