BT STREAMING

Before transmission between your BT device and the radio is possible, both devices must be coupled. This process is called “pairing”. The radio is served as a receiver, to receive the music stream to be played on the radio. If you have already coupled to a BT device before, this connection will be restored automatically when both devices are in range and BT operation has been selected on the radio. “Pairing” does not have to be repeated. This function may need to be activated in your BT device, however.

  1. Set the mode switch to BT mode. The LED indicator will blink in blue color.
  2. Turn on the BT streaming function on your device. The device will scan for pairable BT devices in the reception range.
  3. Select “Fenton Recordplayer” from the list with found devices.
  4. After pairing, the LED will light up continuously. You can now play your music from your device, using the turntable player as speaker.

This device also features a BT transmitter, meaning that it is possible to play sound from the turntable player via BT to, for example, a BT speaker or wireless headphones.
When in phono mode, press the “previous” button: the indicator light will blink in red color. Then, turn on the BT streaming function of the speaker or headphones and start pairing. If the connection is successful, the indicator stops blinking. Now, the vinyl playback will be transmitted to the speaker or headphones wirelessly. Turn the volume control knob of the speaker or press the volume control buttons of the headphones to adjust the volume. The volume control knob of the record player is now blocked.
Note : When the turntable is being used as a BT speaker, all other playback functions cannot be used at the same time.

USB

Playback: Insert your USB drive in the USB slot. The device will automatically start playing the files. Press “previous” or “next” to choose the previous/next track. Press play/pause to (re)start/pause playback.
