INSTALLATION
- POWER(GND) must be connected to the chassis of your vehicle with a perfect electrical connection (remove some paint to reveal bare metal if necessary) and with the ground cable.
- +12V connect the 12V power supply of car battery with the power cable.
- (Note: power connections).
- REMOTE connect the electrical aerial output or the remote output of your radio with the remote cable.
- FUSE protects the unit from damage made by a dangerous volume of current.
- POWER INDICATOR LIGHT
- LEVEL adjusts the input gain of the unit to accept different levels of signal inputs.
- CROSSOVER there are 2 optional modes for the crossover: FU LL L. P. F
- FILTER This is adjusting L.P.F frequencies. Contrails frequency of the amplifierbetween 40Hz and l 50Hz.
- INPUT(R) connects to the RCA output of the car radio with the RCA cable.
- INPUT(L) connects to the RCA output of the car radio with the RCA cable.
- REMOTE CONTROL Attach the included remote level contral to control the volume level of the subwoofer independently.
- HIGH LEVEL INPUTS If your head unit does not have RCA outputs you can use the speaker outputs for the audio source for the subwoofer.
LOW-LEVEL INPUT WIRING
Low-level (RCA) input wiring is preferred for best audio performance. Most
trunk and under-seat installations will require a 6-12 feet RCA cable. Always
use a high quality cable.
NOTE: Do not connect BOTH the high-level and low-level inputs from your receiver to your amplifier at the same time!
HIGH-LEVEL INPUT WIRING
The high-level input(s) should only be used when your receiver lacks RCA
outputs. If the RCA outputs are not present, connect the speaker outputs from
the receiver to the high-level input connector of the amplifier. Be sure to
observe polarity to avoid audio phase problems.
NOTE: Do not connect BOTH the high-level and low-level inputs from your receiver to your amplifier at the same time!
- Place the fuse in the power supply lead as close as possible to the car battery
Mount The Subwoofer Box Inside The Trunk.
- Decide the best location possible that suits your automobile and the space available. The best and most secure location for optimum sound quality is behind the rear seats, in the trunk floor.
- To avoid difficult-to-heat dissipation, do not surround the unit, and ensure the surrounding air convection is smooth, it’s much better to reduce the working temperature.
- Remark: It’s hard to avoid having a jolt or scram for an automobile while running, be laying firmly enough, and suggest you use a bandage to fix the subwoofer box. (This bandage is not included, please buy by yourself.) Please make sure the bass tube
Adjusting The Sound Level
- Turn the level controls of the amplifier to their minimum positions. Choose music with high dynamic content that you like, that you are familiar with, and that will be most often used in the system.
- Turn the unit up to its highest undistorted output level. If you lack test equipment, this point occurs between 3/4 to full volume depending on the quality of your source unit. Listen for any audible distortion. If any distortion is audible, reduce the volume of the source unit until you have an undistorted output. Leave the volume control at this position during your system tuning.
- Continuous exposure to sound pressure levels over 1 00dB may cause permanent hearing loss. High-powered automotive sound systems can generate sound pressure levels in excess of 130 dB. When playing your system at high levels, please use heat protection and prevent long-term exposure.
