General Power Tool Safety Warnings

Work area safety

  • Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
  • Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

Power tool use and care

APPLICATION AREA
The electric jigsaw is designed for sawing wooden, plastic, metal blanks with the help of special exchangeable blades.

POWER SUPPLY
Before starting work, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the characteristics indicated on the stickers on the product case. Do not connect the tool to a power supply greater than 240 V.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

  1. To turn on : pull the switch trigger
  2. To turn off: release the switch trigger
  3. Lock-on Button: To activate the permanent on mode, first press the switch trigger (3), then press the lock-on button ( 2). To deactivate the permanent on mode, first release the switch trigger (3), then release the lock-on button ( 2).
  4. Adjusting jigsaw speed : The electric jigsaw is equipped with a speed adjusting dial (1). By rotation of the wheel, you change the speed of the saw blade. The higher the number on the wheel, the higher the speed. As a rule, high speed is used for working with soft materials and when using blades with a coarse teeth. For working with hard workpieces, it is recommended to set a low rotation speed and a blade with a fine teeth.

  9. Base plate inclination adjustment: The base plate can be adjusted from 0-45º either to the left or to the right. To do this, loosen the base plate’s screws with a hex key, set the plate at the desired angle and fix the position by tightening the screws.

  11. Fix the workpiece in a workbench or with clamps. It’s safer than holding it in your hands.

  12. Be collected and attentive in the process of work. Watch your posture!

  13. Handle the product with care. Keep the handles clean and dry, avoid getting moisture and oils on their surface.

  14. In the course of maintenance, for example when replacing sanding disc, it is necessary to disconnect the product from the power supply.

  15. Before switching on, make sure that the keys and tools intended for maintenance are removed.

  16. It is forbidden to move the product connected to the power supply, keeping your finger on the “On /Off” button. This may lead to accidental activation.

  17. If you are working outdoors, you may only use cable extensions designed for outdoor work.

  18. Be vigilant and attentive in the process of work. It is forbidden to work with the product if you are tired, sick, or under the influence of alcohol.

  19. It is recommended to use only dealer-recommended parts and accessories.

  20. In case of a breakdown, it is recommended to contact the service center. Repairs should be carried out by a specialist.

MAINTENANCE

In the absence of these documents, the authorized organization has the right to refuse warranty service.
  12. The warranty period is extended by the maintenance period. The replacement of components, utilities or a complete set of the product does not lead to the establishment of new warranty periods for the entire product and the replaced parts.
