Battery Maintenance
- Do not use other models or brands of batteries, or there may be a security risk.
- Do not touch the battery contacts, and do not open or expose the shell. Avoid metal objects touching the battery contacts to cause a short circuit. Or it may cause damage to the battery or personal injury or even death.
- Only use the original charger, otherwise there is a risk of damage or fire.
- Improper disposal of used batteries may cause serious contamination of the environment. Follow the local regulations to dispose battery pack.
- Please recharge the battery in time and charge them fully before storage to extend battery life.
- Do not place the battery over 50° or below -20° (for example, do not place the electric scooter or its battery pack in a car under summer sun ), and do not put the battery into a fire. Otherwise it may lead to battery failure, overheating, and even fire. If you don’t ride it for more than 30 days, please fully charge it, store it in a cool dry place, and fully charge it every 60 days, or the battery may be damaged, and this damage is not within the warranty.
- To avoid the full exhaustion of power, please recharge the battery in time. It can greatly extend the battery life. In addition, at room temperature, the battery pack can offer a higher mileage and performance. And if it is used in an environment below 0°, battery life and performance will drop. Typically, at -20°, the mileage may be only half of it at room temperature. And as the temperature rises, the battery mileage will be restored.
If the scooter is out of power after riding, it should be fully charged within seven days. A battery pack which is fully charged will run out of power after about 90 days. If the scooter has not been used for a long time, it should be fully charged at least once a month, otherwise it is likely to result in excessive battery discharging. The damage is irreversible, it will not be able to be recharged again, and can’t enjoy warranty. (Note: non-professional personnel is prohibited to remove the battery pack, or it may lead to serious security incidents due to electric shock or short circuit!)
Maintenance
If the car body surface stains, use toothpaste with soft cloth to wipe, and then clean them with a damp cloth. Do not use alcohol gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive, volatile chemical substance for the cleaning, otherwise the surface of the body and internal structure will be seriously damaged. Do not use pressure washer to wash. When you wash the scooter, please make sure that the power is turned off, the charger is pulled out and the charger hole is well covered, otherwise you may get an electric shock or the water leaking into the internal body may cause serious trouble.
When the scooter is not used, place it in dry, shady and cool indoor environment. Avoid placing the scooter in outdoors for a long time. Sun exposure/hot/cold outdoor environment will accelerate the aging of the tire and reduce the life of battery pack.
