GIMA 27447 Overbed Table
Product Information
The Tavolino Serviletto Overbed Table is a versatile piece of furniture
designed to provide convenience and functionality for users. It is
manufactured by Jiangsu Saikang Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. in China. The
table is made with high-quality materials to
ensure durability and stability. It features casters for easy mobility, a
sturdy base, a pallet for additional storage, a switch for height adjustment,
and a countertop for placing items. The maximum load capacity of the table is
45kg.
Product Usage Instructions
Casters Installation:
- Take out the 10 spring washers from the screw package.
- Install the spring washers with the casters as shown in the figure provided.
Base Elbow Installation:
- Loosen the screw counterclockwise until it is loose.
- Install the inner tube downwards and match it with the base.
- Shake the inner tube back and forth to facilitate screw installation.
- Take out the round machine hexagon socket screw M8*25, flat washer 8, and spring washer 8 from the screw package.
- First, install the screws on both sides of the riser, and finally install the screws on one side of the riser.
- Tighten previously loosened M8*120 screws to complete the installation.
Pallet Installation:
- Lay a protective cushion and turn the main body of the bed upside down.
- Take out the hexagon socket screw M6*16, nut M6, flat washer 6, and spring washer 6 from the screw package.
- Install the screws and nuts as shown in the figure provided.
Switch Installation:
- Install the hexagon socket screw M8*120 and tighten the nut M8 clockwise.
Countertop Installation:
- Take out the round machine hexagon socket screw M6*12, flat washer 6, and spring washer 6 from the screw package.
- Install the screws clockwise.
Caster Usage:
Locking the Caster: Push the overbed table to the desired position and depress the brake with your foot until you hear a click.
Unlocking the Caster: Lift the brake with your foot until you hear a click.
Lifting Method:
To raise or lower the table:
- Hold the switch with one hand and lift it up.
- Press or lift the table panel with the other hand to adjust the height of the table.
Spare Part Replacement and Maintenance:
To ensure safe usage, perform regular safety inspections on the overbed table every six months. Check for loose connections and ensure all operations are normal.
Packaging, Transport, and Storage:
- The overbed table is packaged according to the contract or product standard.
- Avoid rushing out, violent vibration, and protect from sunlight and rain during transportation.

CASTERS INSTALLATION
(The picture does not exactly match the actual product, and is for reference only) Take out the φ10 spring washer from the screw package and install it with the casters as shown in the figure below.
INSTALL THE BASE ELBOW
The picture does not exactly match the actual product, and is only for installation instructions reference) Loosen the screw counterclockwise as shown in the figure until it is loose (the nut does not fall).
Install the inner tube downwards and match it with the base. After the installation is completed, the inner tube is shaken back and forth to facilitate screw installation.
Take out the round machine hexagon socket screw M8*25, flat wa-sher φ8, spring washer φ8 from the screw package, first install the screws on both sides of the riser, and finally install the screws on one side of the riser.
Re tighten previously loosened M8*120 screws to complete the in-stallation.
INSTALL THE PALLET

INSTALL THE SWITCH

installation instructions reference) Install the hexagon socket screw M8*120
of the circular machine, and install the nut M8 clockwise.
INSTALL THE COUNTERTOP
Take out the round machine hexagon socket screw M6*12, flat wa-sher φ6, and
spring washer φ6 from the screw package and install it clockwise.
CASTOR USE METHOD
Lock the caster
After pushing the overbed table to the desired position, depress the brake
with your foot and lock the caster when you hear a “click”, as shown in the
figure below.
Unlock the caster
Lift the brake with your foot and unlock the castor when you hear a “click”.
LIFTING METHOD
Hold the switch with one hand and lift it up, and press the table with the
other hand to lower the table.
Hold the switch with one hand and lift it up, and lift the table panel with
the other hand to rise the table.

PACKAGING, TRANSPORT, STORAGE
- The packaging of overbed table is carried out according to contract or product standard.
- Avoid rushing out, violent vibration, and protection from sunlight and rain during the transportation of the overbed table.
- The overbed table should be stored:
- a) Ambient temperature: -40°C ~ 70°C
- b) Relative humidity: ≤ 95%
- c) Atmospheric pressure: 500hPa ~ 1060hPa

MAINTENANCE
- In order to use the overbed table safely, it is necessary to perform regular safety inspections on the overbed table. It is recommended to check it every six months to ensure that the connections are not loose and all operations are normal.
- When the overbed table frame ages and it reaches a certain servicing time, which the metal part of the overbed table and plastic parts of the overbed table frame can be recycle.
- Avoid scratching the panel with sharp-angle appliances or knives during use, and clean it frequently to keep it clean and dry.
- If the panel is accidentally stained with stains, it is recommended to clean it. Do not use alkaline or corrosive chemicals to clean the overbed table, which will cause the surface to rust.
- Regularly check the casters to avoid hitting or overloading, which will cause damage to the casters.
- It is forbidden to force the casters to brake when braking, which will cause damage to the brake system.
- The wear of the tire surface of the wheel can be detected by visual inspection. Some thread spun yarn and other accumulations may be wrapped around the wheel, remove the bolts and nuts of the wheel, clean up the debris, and check whether the bearing of the wheel is damaged. If the parts are not damaged, can be reassembled and used.
- Judging whether the caster is replaced according to the time used, wear and tear, you can replace the wheels and make sure that the axles bolt and nuts are well put together and connected. If possible, use a lock washers or locknuts to help you with this process.
- For the casters equipped with brakes, it is necessary to regularly check whether the brakes are working properly. Check the brakes once a day or before each use. For a overbed table equipped with multiple brake casters, only one brake caster can be locked at a time which will allow you to try and push the overbed table also check whether one of the brake performance of each caster is good. If the function of the brake fails due to wear or damage to the wheels, immediately replace the wheels and then retest the brake system.
