Product Information

The SYMFONISK sound remote is a device designed to work together with IKEA gateway or hub and control your SYMFONISK speakers. It can be used to play/pause music, repeat the most recently played music, skip to the next track, and adjust the volume. The sound remote also features shortcut buttons that can be used to change the playlist being streamed to the speakers. To use the sound remote, you need to download the IKEA Home smart app from either the App Store (for Apple devices) or the Google Play store (for Android devices). The app will guide you through the process of setting up your device and adding scenes to the shortcut buttons. Please note that you cannot directly add Works with IKEA Home smart marked products to your sound remote. The sound remote requires 2 HR03 AAA 1.2V batteries (sold separately) for operation. When used regularly and as intended, the batteries will last for approximately 2 years. The sound remote has a wireless connectivity range and can be paired with the speakers using the pairing button. For cleaning, simply wipe the sound remote with a soft moistened cloth and then use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it dry. When it’s time to replace the batteries, the red LED indicator on the back of the sound remote will flash. To replace the batteries, open the battery lid and insert 2 new HR03 AAA 1.2V batteries with correct polarity. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions to avoid any risk of explosion. It is recommended to use 2 x LADDA rechargeable batteries HR03 AAA 1.2V, and not to mix batteries of different capacities, types, or date stamps.
