ELECOM MSC-TB Screen Protector
Product Information
The Manual Screen Protector is a protective film designed to be applied to the LCD screen of your device. It helps to prevent scratches, dirt, and oil from damaging the screen.
Protection Film Structure
- Protective sheet [1]: Used as a temporary cover during the application process.
- Affixing sticker: Helps to align and stick the film onto the LCD screen.
- Protective sheet [2]: Provides additional protection to the film during application.
- Removal labels: Used to remove the protective sheets and surface sheets.
HOW TO STICK THE FILM
Caution
- Do not cover the front camera with the film when putting it on. If dirt and oil remain on the LCD screen, you may not be able to successfully attach the film.
- If dust remains on the LCD screen, it will cause the LCD screen to be scratched.
- Be careful not to touch the sticking surface of the LCD screen protection film, and to prevent fingerprints and dust from sticking when attaching it.
- Please do not press the LCD screen strongly to remove bubbles. It may damage or cause failure of the main unit.
- Once bubbles get in, please peel off the LCD screen protection film once and attach it again.

Before attaching
Place the film on the LCD screen and make sure that it is aligned.

INSTALLATION
- Turn off your device and wipe off the dirt on the screen with the included cleaning cloth.
- Remove the label of the affixing sticker.
- Align and stick the film on the LCD screen using the affixing sticker.
- Remove the protective sheet [1] using the removal label [1] and affix the protection film to your LCD screen.
- Remove the affixing sticker from your LCD screen.
- Hold on to removing the label and removing the protective sheet [2] while slowly pushing the air out using the squeegee and affixing the rest of the film onto your LCD screen.
- When using the squeegee to apply the film, be extra careful not to use excessive pressure to avoid damage to your screen and the film.
- Finally, peel off the surface sheet attached to the surface using the removal label before using your device.
- Glue may remain on the film. Wipe it off with the included cleaning cloth before using your device.

USEFUL TIPS
How to remove air bubbles
If bubbles remain after attaching the LCD protection film, lightly press
the bubbles with your fingers and move it to the edge of the film. Small air
bubbles become smaller and less noticeable over time.
- Depending on the size, some air bubbles may not disappear.
- Applying excessive pressure may cause damage to the screen.
- Do not use your fingernails to remove the air bubbles.
To peel off the attached film
Please attach a Scotch tape on the edge of the film and lift the Scotch
tape so that the edge of the film comes off. If the edge of the film does not
peel off, please do it again.
Precautions on use
- Due to the nature of this product, the pen tip may wear out depending on the material when you use Apple Pencil or other stylus pens. Please note it in advance.
- Depending on the type of covers or cases, they may not be used with the product.
- This product is a film to protect the LCD screen of a compatible main unit. Please do not use it in any other way.
- This product does not completely prevent scratches and dirt on the LCD screen.
- Be sure to observe the following when using it. Please do not use it other than with compatible equipment. Please confirm that this product is properly attached to the main unit before use.
- Please avoid exposing the film to high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight, because this may cause deformation or deterioration of this product and the main unit of the equipment.
- Please understand that Elecom is not responsible for any damage or breakdown of equipment, loss of data, compensation for damages, mental damage, lost profits, and the like.
- For any damage to this product, except for cases where there is intentional or gross negligence by our company, our company’s liability for damages, such as default and illegal acts, will be limited to the purchase price of this product.
- When you find damage, deformation, or deterioration, please stop using it immediately.
- Do not allow alcohol, other chemicals, detergents, and the like to stick to this product.
- Please do not wipe this product with a hard cloth.
- Please keep out of reach of children.
- Due to the nature of the material, this product may discolor with time.
- Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for damaging the film or damaging the screen when pasting or peeling the film.
- Due to the nature of this product, the film may get stuck and peel off when putting it in and taking it out from bags and similar places.
- Due to the nature of the film, sebum may attach to it. Please wipe with a soft cloth if the stain becomes noticeable.
