Product Usage Instructions

5. Remove the preassembled finial [A] from the inner rod [C], keeping the other finial attached.
6. Unscrew the preassembled screws on all brackets [AA] and slide the preassembled one out of rod [B].
7. If needed, fasten the other finial to the rod end.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

Cannot access the top screw hole on brackets to install properly.

| Supporting bracket arm is in the way.| Swivel the arm to the side and install the top screw hole BEFORE swiveling the bracket arm back to original position and installing the bottom screw hole.

Rod does not extend to desired length / Rod is too short for desired length.| Only two rods were used, and the third larger diameter rod was not applied.| Add the third larger diameter rod to form a longer 3-piece telescopic rod (see step 4).

Rod is too long for desired length.| Three rods were all used, but only two rods are needed.

| Discard one larger diameter rod and install just the 2-piece telescopic rod (see step 4).
Rods slide / slip when curtain panels are pulled left and right.| The rods are not properly secured in the brackets.| Tighten the rod-securing-screws on the brackets (see step 6).

Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble or install the product.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

Remove preassembled finial [A] from inner rod [C] (keep the other finial attached). Unscrew preassembled screws on all brackets [AA] and slide the preassembled one out of rod [B].

Please note the removed screws will be used later, so please keep them within sight.

Arrange brackets placement according to rod lengths: For installation rod length shorter than 49” (for 72”-144” rod set) or 96” (for 72”-144” rod set), the smaller bracket [BB] (marked “S” in the back) has to be placed one of the side to hold the inner rod [C]. For installation rod length longer than 49” (for 72”-144” rod set) or 96” (for 72”-144” rod set), the smaller bracket [BB] has to be placed in the center between the two larger brackets [AA] (marked “L” in the back”).

For wood/stud installations, anchors [DD] are not required. Pre drill 3/32” pilot holes at market locations.

For drywall/paneling installations, anchors [DD] are required. Predrill 1/4” pilot holes at market locations, then screw anchors [DD] into pilot holes.

For installation rod length shorter than 49” (for 36”-72” rod set) or 96” (for 72”-144” rod set), The additional outer rod is NOT needed. Make sure the inner rod [C] relative to the outer rod [B] is the same as the position of the smaller bracket [BB] relative to the larger brackets [AA]. Attach drapery panel (sold separately) to rods, and place entire set onto installed brackets [AA&BB].

For installation rod length wider than 49” (for 72”-144” rod set) or 96” (for 72”-144” rod set), attach additional outer rod [B] to the end of inner rod [C]. Attach drapery panel (sold separately) to rods, and place entire set onto installed brackets [AA&BB].

Fast the other finial to rod end.

Tighten the preassembled screws on mounting brackets [AA] lock the rod assembly in place.
