  • Failure to obey installation instructions and warnings can result in injury or death.
  • Use correct hardware for your specific wall type, the hardware provided is intended for 1/2 inch drywall.
  • Horizontal and Vertical Standards must be firmly secured to the wall.
  • Do not overload.

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

Estimated Assembly Time: 1 hour

Tools Required for Assembly (not included):
Tape Measure, #2 Phillips Screwdriver, Pencil, Drill Bits (1/8” & 5/16”), Drill

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Chose your preferred mounting location for the
system. Locate and mark the center of all studs within a
26 inch span on the installation wall.

Use a stud finder to help locate
the center of all studs.

2. Place the Horizontal Top Track (A) against the wall at a recommended 84 inches from the floor. Use the Magnetic Level (CC) to make sure Top Track (A) is straight. Mark center, furthest left, and furthest right (hitting as many studs as possible).

You can customize your system and hanging height to fit your needs. Check out the “OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS” section for configuration examples

3. Use 1/8” drill bit to pre-drill holes into studs and use 5/16” drill bit to pre-drill holes into drywall.

If you are unsure if a stud is located behind markings, use 1/8″ drill bit to drill all holes. If no stud is present, then use 5/16″ drill bit to make holes larger for drywall anchors.

4. Install Drywall Anchors (AA) into pre-drilled
drywall holes. Drywall Anchors (AA) are only used
for drywall holes, extra Drywall Anchors (AA) may
be leftover.

Hardware Used (Pack A)

Use a rubber mallet to lightly tap
Drywall Anchors (AA) into the drywall.

5. Attach Horizontal Top Track (A) with 4.8 x 38mm
Panhead Screws (BB).

Hardware Used (Pack A)

To prevent damage only use a screwdriver when screwing into Drywall Anchors (AA).

For simple installation, loosely secure center screw first to help hold Top Track to wall, then secure outer screws
ensuring Top Track remains level. Tighten all screws after all are installed.

6. Insert the Bottom Mount Wall Clip (FF) into the
Vertical Standard (C) with tab facing down. Fasten
the Bottom Mount Wall Clip with M4 x 8 screws (DD).

NOTE:
If using 26-IN Vertical Standard Kit (sold
separately), refer to the instructions provided
with the 26-IN Vertical Standard Kit at this step.

7. Hang Vertical Standards (C) to Horizontal Top
Track (A) as shown.

8. Insert Left & Right Arm Brackets (F&E) into the
Vertical Standards (C) at desired shelf heights. Each
shelf requires 1x Left Arm Bracket (F) and 1x Right
****Arm Bracket (E).

NOTE:
Arm Brackets are stamped with
L and R for easy identification
as well and an “UP” orientation
arrow.

For easier alignment of the arm brackets, slide all vertical standard to the center of the horizontal top track and install all arm brackets at your desired height.

9. Ensure the Vertical Standards (C) are aligned to the left, right, and center of Horizontal Top Track (A).

10. Hook Left Clothing Rod Bracket (H) into the middle tab of Left Arm Bracket (F). Hook Right
Clothing Rod Bracket (G) into the middle tab ofRight Arm Bracket (E).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

11. Install Wood Shelves (I) by hooking in the back
tabs into the Left (F) and Right (E) Arm Brackets.
Then push the front of the shelf down, inserting the
front tabs into the Arm Brackets.

12. Use the Magnetic Level (CC) to make sure
Vertical Standards (C) are straight. Then mark hole
locations of the Bottom Mount Wall Clips (FF).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

13. Move the Vertical Standards (C) to the side to
reveal the marks made in the previous step. Using
5/16” drill bit to pre-drill holes into drywall. Use a
1/8″ drill bit if this is in a stud. Do not drill through
the metal brackets.

If you are unsure if a stud is located behind markings, use 1/8″ drill bit to
drill all holes. If no stud is present, then use 5/16″ drill bit to make holes
larger for drywall anchors.

14. While the standards are shifted to the side,
install Drywall Anchors (AA) into pre-drilled drywall
holes.

Hardware Used (Pack B)

Use a rubber mallet to lightly tap
Drywall Anchors (AA) into the drywall

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (Pack B)

15. Secure each Vertical Standard (C) to wall
through the Bottom Mount Wall Clip (FF) using 4.8
x 38 Panhead Screw White (II).

Hardware Used (Pack B)

16. Insert Clothing Rod End Caps (GG) into the
ends of each Clothing Rod (D). Combine 2 Clothing
Rods (D) together with Clothing Rod Connector
(HH).

configuration examples

17. Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver, fasten the
Clothing Rod Assembly to the Left & Right Clothing
Rod Brackets (H&G) with M4x8 Screws (DD).

Hardware Used (Pack C)

18. Insert the Universal Wall Clip (EE) into both
sides of the Vertical Standards (C) near its center
point. Once inserted push clips up and mark the
hardware hole locations.

Hardware Used (Pack B)

NOTE:
Ensure Universal Wall Clip is installed in upward
direction for maximum support.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

19. Remove Universal Wall Clip (EE) and using
5/16″ drill bit, pre-drill marked hole locations into
drywall. Do not drill through the metal brackets.

If you are unsure if a stud is located
behind markings, use 1/8″ drill bit to
drill all holes. If no stud is present,
then use 5/16″ drill bit to make holes
larger for drywall anchors.

20. Install Drywall Anchors (AA) into pre-drilled
drywall holes.

Hardware Used (Pack B)

Use a rubber mallet to lightly tap
Drywall Anchors (AA) into the drywall.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

21. Re-install each Universal Wall Clip (EE) into
Vertical Standard (C) at marked hole locations and
secure Clip to wall using 4.8 x 38 Panhead Screw
White (II).

Hardware Used (Pack B)

22. Press channel of Horizontal Top Track Cover (B) onto fin of the Horizontal Top Track (A).

A step ladder may make this step a bit easier to complete.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This kit has been designed to support the maximum loads as shown.
Exceeding these load limits could cause sagging, instability,
product collapse, and/or serious injury.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
  • Make sure all bolts/screws are tightly fastened before the unit is used, check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.

WARRANTY

This limited warranty covers the original purchase of this product used for normal personal or household us. Origin 21 warrants its products will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship (normal wear and tear excepted), for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except as provided below. As the exclusive remedy under this warranty, Origin 21 will repair or replace any defective component.

This warranty does not apply to damage caused by fire, accident, negligence, misuse, use other than as stated in product instructions, improper cleaning or other circumstances not directly attributable to defects in materials and workmanship.

Materials are warranted for one year from date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required in the form of a receipt (copy or original) to validate the warranty.
