Product Information The DESSALATOR DC FREEDOM & AC CRUISE is a watermaker that allows you to produce fresh water while on your boat or yacht. It is designed to provide a quick and efficient way of obtaining clean drinking water from seawater.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the hull valve for the watermaker is opened.
  2. Check that the selection valve on the pre-filter is in the seawater position.
  3. Turn the pressure regulator knob almost fully counterclockwise (towards the (-) position).
  4. Set the power switch to ON.
  5. Wait until only the YELLOW LED blinks.
  6. Slightly increase the pressure up to 8 o’clock on the pressure gauge using the regulator knob. Stay in this position for about one minute.
  7. Increase the pressure to 11 o’clock using the regulator knob. Stay in this position for about one minute.
  8. Now, increase the pressure to the green zone on the pressure gauge.
  9. When the water quality LED lights up green, your water maker is producing fresh water.

Note: It is important to monitor the pressure gauge and adjust the pressure accordingly to ensure optimal performance.

Shutdown Procedure:

  1. Set the power switch to OFF to stop the watermaker.
  2. Turn the pressure regulator knob almost fully counterclockwise (towards the (-) position).

START-UP PROCEDURE

  1. Make sure the hull valve for the watermaker is opened, the selection valve on the pre-filter is in the seawater position and turn the pressure regulator knob almost fully counterclockwise (towards the (-) position).

  2. Set the switch to ON.

  3. Wait until only the YELLOW LED blinks.
    Slightly increase the pressure up to 8 o’clock on the pressure gauge using the regulator knob.
    Stay in this position for about one minute.

  4. Increase the pressure to 11 o’clock using the regulator knob. Stay in this position for about one minute.

  5. Now you can increase the pressure to the green zone on the pressure gauge. When the water quality LED lights up green, your water maker produces fresh water.

  6. Set the power switch to OFF, to stop the water maker.

  7. Turn the knob pressure regulator almost fully counterclockwise (towards the (-) position).
