Product Information

The product model is N6661-865. It is an indoor light fixture that requires installation. The fixture consists of outer and inner glass shades, a metal washer, a socket cup, a decorative round ball, a cap, a tube, and various rods and screws for mounting. The fixture supports medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (bulbs not included).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
  2. If there is an existing fixture, remove it along with all mounting hardware from the junction box.
  3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area, taking care not to lose any necessary parts.
  4. Assembling the Fixture:
  5. Place the outer glass shade, cap, tube, and decorative round ball over the threaded part and secure with the coupling.
  6. Place the inner glass shade and metal washer over the socket and secure with the socket cup.
  7. Determine the desired hanging height and thread the rods to the coupling. Then thread the swivel of the canopy onto one of the rods.
  8. Pass the wires carefully through each rod, swivel, and canopy.
  9. Mounting the Fixture:
  10. Thread two mounting screws into the crossbar spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the canopy. Adjust the length of the mounting screws if necessary.
  11. Attach the crossbar to the junction box using the provided junction box screws. Ensure that the side of the crossbar marked GND faces out.
  12. Attach the hook onto the end of the support cable and allow it to support the weight of the fixture while wiring.
  13. Connecting the Wires:
  14. Connect the electrical wires as shown in figure 2, ensuring that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire, connect the ground wires to it. Otherwise, connect the ground wire directly to the crossbar and secure using the provided green screw.
  15. Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
  16. Completing the Installation:
  17. Raise the canopy over the mounting screws and secure it with the cap nuts.
  18. Install one medium base bulb up to 100 watts or CFL or LED equivalent, following the fixture specifications. Do not exceed the specified wattage.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
