LED Ceiling Luminaire with Microwave Sensor

The LED Luminaire is designed to be installed onto a solid base in indoor areas.
Enclosure: IP44 – for outdoor environments.

Sensor Parameters

Frequency: 5.8 GHz ±75 MHz
Radiating power: <0.3 mW
Detection angle: 150° – when wall-mounted

360° – when ceiling-mounted

Detection range: 6 m
Sensitivity settings: 10 % / 25 % / 50 % / 75 % / 100 %
Switching time: 5 s / 30 s / 90 s / 3 min / 20 min / 30 min
Sensitivity to surrounding lighting: 2 lux / 10 lux / 25 lux / 50 lux / off
Speed range of detected objects: 0.5–3 m/s
Sensor consumption in standby mode: <0.5 W

Settings

You can set the microwave sensor exactly as you need for the specific application through various combinations on the DIP switch.

Setting Detection Range (Sensitivity)

The term detection range is used to describe the range of virtual circular detection zone located on the ground when the Luminaire is mounted on the ceiling at a height of 2.5 m.

Detection range:

|
---|---
When wall-mounted:
– recommended mounting height: 1–1.8 m| When ceiling-mounted:
– recommended mounting height: 2.5–6 m

The sensor range can be reduced in four stages:

NOTE: The above detection range is for a person who is 1.6–1.7 m tall and is moving at a speed of 1–1.5 m/s. If the height, figure or speed of the detected person differs, the detection range changes as well.

Trigger Time

The light remains on for a set period since the last movement was detected.
Any movement detected before the set time elapses restarts the timer. Before setting the detection range and testing the sensor, it is recommended to set the lowest trigger time possible.
NOTE: Once the Luminaire turns off, it takes approximately one second before the sensor is again able to detect movement. The Luminaire will not turn on again until this period of time passes.

Setting Sensitivity to Surrounding Lighting

The microwave sensor can be adjusted so that it only triggers at the set level of surrounding lighting, or lower.

Installation

Attach the Luminaire firmly to a solid base, e.g. wall, ceiling etc. Connect the power cable for connecting to a 230 V~ power network.
The conductor must not be connected to power supply at the time of Luminaire installation. The power cable must be connected to the Luminaire only by a professional with qualification in accordance with Decree No. 50/1978 Coll., as amended, at the least a professional knowledgeable in line with section 5 of Decree No. 50/1978 Coll., as amended.

WARNING

  • The Luminaire is only suited for fixed installation.
  • The Luminaire can only be connected to an electrical network with installation and protection in line with valid regulations and standards.
  • Before interfering with the light or performing maintenance and repair, the Luminaire must be disconnected from the power network. This must only be performed by a person KNOWLEDGEABLE in valid regulations on qualification for such activities.
  • Protection against dangerous contact voltage is ensured through earthing.
  • Immediately take the Luminaire out of operation if any portion of the Luminaire becomes damaged.
  • LEDs inside the Luminaire are not replaceable.
  • Do not interfere with the internal wiring of the Luminaire.
  • If the Luminaire cover becomes damaged, do not use the Luminaire and immediately replace the cover with a new one.

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use sorted waste collection points. Contact local authorities for up-to-date information about collection points. If electrical appliances are deposited in waste landfills, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater, get into the food chain and harm your health.

This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class E
