ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
IMPORTANT: Read these Instructions before use carefully so as to familiarise yourself with the appliance before connecting it to its gas cartridge or gas cylinder. Keep these instructions for future reference.

WARNINGS
- Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance. This appliance is intended to be used for frying and not to be used with water to be poured into the food during cooking.
- Never immerse the unit, electric cable or plug into water or other liquids.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- The cooking surface can become very hot during use.
- Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, and lids should not be placed on the cooking surface since they can get hot.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down, before emptying the dripping tray
- The appliance is delivered with a connector incorporating a thermostat (8) and shall only be used with this connector.
- Always pull out the plug (7) before removing the temperature regulator (3) when disconnecting the appliance after use.
- The thermostat (8) / temperature regulator (3) must only be connected to the plug (7) on the appliance and must not have contact with other parts of the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged (3, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9), it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from Oase Outdoors.
- Avoid that the electric cable (6) is hanging and exposed for contact with moving parts, objects, or persons ensuring no danger of tipping the appliance during use.
- Keep the electric cable (6) away from hot surfaces and open fire or sharp edges.
- Never touch the electric cable and plug (3, 6, 7, 8, 9) with wet hands.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- Only use the appliance on a heat-resistance surface.
- Never position the appliance close to hot surfaces or open flames.
- Do not modify the appliance in any way.
- This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
This appliance is only intended to be used in private household.
The appliance is for indoor use only.
Recommended use maximum 45 min followed by a rest until the appliance is cooled down.
- Clean the griddle / cooking surface (1) of the appliance before putting into use.
- Brush the cooking surface (1) with a little cooking oil.
- Connect the thermostat (8) / temperature regulator (3) to the appliance inlet (9). Make sure that the plug (7) is connected properly.
- Set the temperature regulator (3) to heat level “0”.
- Connect the plug (7) to a socket.
- Set the temperature regulator (3) to the required heat level. The control lamp (5) will light up to show that the unit is (ON) and the control light will turn off when the appliance has reached the set temperature limit.
- After use set the temperature regulator (3) to heat level “0”.
- Make sure first to disconnect the plug (7) from the wall outlet and second the thermostat (8) / temperature regulator (3) from the appliance inlet (9) and allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
- Do not use metallic utensils that will damage the coating / cooking surface (1). Use only wooden or plastic utensils without sharp edges.
- Discard the appliance if the coating on the cooking surface (1) is cracked or damaged.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Wipe off the griddle / cooking surface (1) with warm soapy water using a sponge or dishcloth.
- Wipe off the appliance thoroughly to remove soap residue.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Do not put any parts from the appliance in the dishwasher.
- The inlet (9) of the appliance must be completely dry before used.
- Use a brush with water and soap to clean the dripping tray (4).
- Wipe off the temperature regulator (3) & electric cable (6) /plug (7) with a damped cloth if necessary and make sure that it is completely dry before use.
Dispose of appliance as electronic waste according to local regulations
