Product Information

The DS-800S/2P Jewelry Steam Cleaner is a high-quality steam cleaner designed for cleaning jewelry and other delicate ornaments.
It operates at a voltage of 110V/50-60Hz and has a power of 1200W.
The steam pressure can be adjusted between 2-5 bar, and it has aboiler volume of 2L. The cleaner is made from superior SUS 304 material, ensuring durability. The highest temperature in the steam outlet reaches 135°C.
The DS series steam cleaner is suitable for cleaning jewelry with complicated designs and inlaid products. It uses high-pressure steam to remove oil stains, sewage, and residues from the surfaceof the parts, ensuring high efficiency and water-saving cleaning. The steam cleaner is also effective in cleaning small gaps, holes, and dead spaces.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Check whether the power voltage is the same as the voltage of the cleaner before use.
2. Use clear water or mineral water to fill the cleaner and avoid using impure water to prevent pipe blockage.
3. During use, do not put your hand directly under the nozzle port to avoid scalding.
4. Keep the external surface of the cleaner clean and dry. Do not move the cleaner while using to prevent damage.
5. Ensure the pressure indicator shows the set pressure value before starting the cleaning process.
6. If the boiler water level is full, the full water indicator will light up and sound an alarm. Do not operate the cleaner in this state.
7. If the machine runs out of water during use, the heating will automatically stop, and the shortage water indicator will light up.Turn off the main power switch at the back of the machine and wait for the exhaust fan to cool down before refilling water.
8. If no steam comes out from the nozzle, check if there is enough water in the boiler and if the pressure indicator shows the set pressure value. If there is still no steam, contact customer support for further assistance.

Notice

Principle of Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaning is to inject clear water into steam heating pressure boiler, then the water is heated to steam in a complete sealing status. In the heating process, the pressure in the boiler will gradually increase. When the pressure in the boiler reaches over 3.5 bar, the steam cleaner enters into working state, the temperature of the spraying saturated steam reaches over 135℃, use the high temperature and high pressure of saturated steam to remove the attachments such as oil stain, sewage from the surface of the parts and vaporize them away. At the same time, it can also clean small gaps and holes, peel off and remove oil stains and residues to achieve requirements for high efficiency, water saving, clean and dry.

Application

• Cleaning of high quality is the premise for quality assurance of electroplate on the jewelry surface. DS series steam cleaner is especially suitable for cleaning all kinds of ornaments with complicated design. Ornaments cleaned by steam will better guarantee the adhesion and brightness of electroplate when plated.
• DS series steam cleaner can generate steam of high pressure to ensure the touch between the steam and each angle of inlaid products. Steam cleaning can quickly reach every part of the inlaid structure, so as to remove stains from each dead space and instantly restore all kinds of jewels to their beauty and luster.
• DS series steam cleaner use steam as cleaning medium instead of water to ensure the effect of environmental cleaning. It has the function of high pressure and high temperature cleaning which is not included in usual cleaning, and can quickly peel off the polishing wax that remains on the surface and dead space of the ornaments.

Operating Method

1. Plug in the power socket, turn on the main power switch on the machine back. The power button indicator lamp blinks, the pressure window show “ -”, the cleaner is in standby state.
2. Touch the power button once, if the steam boiler water level is not full of water, and the pressure is “0”, then the automatic water adding program will be started, and the water adding will stop after the full water alarm, the start is complete.
3. When the steam cleaner is started, the power button and steam pressure adjustment button indicator light keep on, pressure window show the set pressure value; when the pressure not arrive the set pressure value, the heating indicator show the red light, when the pressure arrived the set pressure value, the heating indicator show the green light.
4. When the boiler water level is full of water, the full water indicator “F” lights up and alarms 1 sec.
5. When the machine is short of water during use, the heating automatically stops, the shortage water indicator “L” lights up and alarms; at the same time start the automatic water procedure. While the boiler is still under high pressure, it should be released by gently stepping on the pedal switch. When the boiler pressure displays “0”, the pump will be started, the heating function restarted after the full water.
6. There are four kinds of steam pressure adjustable from 2 – 5 bar.
7. Touch the power button again in the boot state to shut down and enter the standby state, but the steam solenoid valve can work normally in the standby state. After turning off the main power switch at the back of machine, the exhaust fan will continue to exhaust and cool down for a while. When the internal temperature of the machine drops, the exhaust fan will automatically stop.

Trouble Shooting

• Water line or the nozzle is blocked.
• Blocked heating tube.

• Use pure distilled water as the water supply. Use a needle to unclog the nozzle.
• Replace the boiler. Use pure distilled water as the water supply.

The outlet steam pressure is unstable.|

• Insufficient water supply.
• With leakage in water line or in the seal and connections , air is in.
• The nozzle is worn.
• The input voltage is unstable.

|

• Ensure adequate water supply.
• Repair or replace the broken parts.
• Replace the nozzle.
• Work at the rated voltage as the instruction manual.

Spray water beads.|

• Below operating temperature.
• Steam condensed in the hose.
• The nozzle is too far away from the item and the steam condenses.

|

• Turn on with the max pressure (digital displaying “5”). Wait for the heating light to go off and operate.
• Step the pedal to drain out the condensed water.
• The nozzle should be as close to the item as possible while using.

The light indicates lack of water, but the machine does not pump water.|

• The pressure in the boiler is too high.
• The water pump is damaged.

|

• Press the pedal to release the pressure.
• Replace the accessories.

Machine buzzing when turned on.| The steam in the boiler has condensed without releasing pressure, which leads to negative pressure and buzzing in the machine.| Press the safety valve on the top or step on the pedal to release negative pressure.
