Note: The air conditioner stops operating when the room temperature is lower than the selected temperature.
VENTILATION

Press the SPEED button repeatedly until the desired ventilation speed is reached.
DEHUMIDIFYING

SLEEP MODE:
Caution: The sleep mode can only be activated in COOL (cooling) mode.
When the unit is in COOL mode:

AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING
At low room temperatures, frost may accumulate on the evaporator. The unit
will then automatically begin defrosting ‘
(POWER LED flashes.)
In case of power failure, to protect the compressor there is a 3 minute
delay until the unit restarts.’
SELF EVAPORATING SYSTEM AND WATER TANK:
The self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the condenser
coils for better performance. The condensation water evaporates at the
condenser and is discharged through the exhaust hose. The drain tank only
needs to be emptied manually in case of high humidity.
Emptying the water tank:
-
Make sure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
-
Remove the cap from the water drain opening and store it in a safe place.
-
Connect the drain hose to the drain opening, making sure it is not kinked or blocked.
-
Place the outlet of the hose over a drain or bucket and make sure water can flow freely out the unit.
CAUTION: Do not submerge the end of the hose in water, or an “air lock” may form in the hose and the water will no longer flow to the drain or bucket.
CAUTION: Because the negative pressure of the condensate drain pan is high, the drain hose should be tilted downward toward the floor. The angle of inclination should be more than 20 degrees.
CAUTION: In case of high humidity or frequent use of the DRY function, it is necessary to empty the water tank continuously!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
HOUSING
The housing can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
FILTER
Check the filter every 2 weeks. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner. If
necessary, rinse the filter with water
CAUTION: Do not reinstall the filter until it is completely dry!
STORAGE
The evaporator in the unit must be dry before storing it for an extended period of time. Unplug the unit and place it in a dry open area for several days to allow it to dry.
Another way to dry the unit is to turn the unit on, set it to a low wind ventilation setting, and keep that setting on until the exhaust hose is completely dry. This will prevent mold from forming on the inside of the appliance.
The appliance should be kept in an upright position when stored. Store it in a ventilated, dry and safe place indoors.
