SIGNATURE HARDWARE 939231 Scarborough Vanity Light
Product Information
The product is Scarborough, available in three different SKUs: 939231, 939232, and 939233. It is an electric fixture that requires installation. Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that you have gathered all the required materials for the installation.
- Prepare the mounting strap (B) by threading the two long mounting screws (D) into the back of the mounting strap (B).
- Connect the positive supply wire in black to the positive fixture lead with a connector. Connect the negative supply wire in white to the negative fixture lead. Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper) with the fixture’s ground wire using a connector. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
- Attach the mounting strap (B) to the junction box (A) using 2 shorter screws (C).
- For mounting the fixture, slip the two mounting screws (D) through the mounting holes in the backplate (F).
- While holding the fixture in place, thread the two ball knobs (E) on the end of the mounting screws (D), and tighten them up.
- To install the glass (3), slip the small hole in the bottom of the glass over the socket (4).
- Install the light bulbs (1) into the sockets (4).
Note: To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft cloth. Clean the glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper.

GETTING STARTED
- Ensure that you have gathered all the required materials that are needed for the installation.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
WARNING: Be sure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off, either the fuse is removed or the circuit breaker is shut off. You do not need special tools to install this fixture. Be sure to follow the steps in the order given. Under no circumstances should a fixture be hung on house electrical wires, nor should a swag type fixture be installed on a ceiling which contains a radiant type heating system. Read instructions carefully. If you are unclear as to how to proceed, consult a qualified electrician.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- To clean, wipe fixture with a soft cloth.
- Clean glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION (FIG 1)
- Prepare the mounting strap (B) by threading the two long mounting screws (D) into the back of the mounting strap (B) – see Figure 1.
- Connect positive supply wire in black to positive fixture lead with connector. Connect negative supply wire in white to negative fixture lead. Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper) with fixture’s ground wire with connector. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
- Attach the mounting strap (B) to junction box (A) using 2 shorter screws (C).
- For mounting fixture, slip the two mounting screws (D) through the mounting holes in the backplate (F).
- While holding the fixture in place, thread the two ball knobs (E) on the end of the mounting screws (D), and tighten up.
INSTALLATION (FIG 2)
- To install glass (3), slip small hole in bottom of glass over the socket (4) – see Figure 2.
- Thread socket ring (2) onto socket (4) and tighten to secure glass (3).
- Install the light bulbs (1); not included, in the sockets (4).
