EASY TO USE

It is a DC 5521 plug, and I’m not sure whether there is a model without one specifically. The earlier model does have the DC plug. I use this socket to power the fan using a portable charger.
Is it possible to modify this to function as a tent ceiling fan?****
I would respond that you could because I like to make things work and camp in tents. It would likely need to be suspended upside-down by the area where the battery housing attaches to the fan component using heavy-duty string or a short rope.
How long does this usually last before the batteries need to be changed?****
The package claims a battery life of up to 55 hours while operating at low speed, though obviously that depends on the quality of the batteries. At moderate speed, I think 40 hours is average, while at high speed, I think 20 hours.
What are the fan’s measurements? What are its height and width?****
The fan measures 7″ tall and 6″ broad. The battery base is approximately 3″ in diameter by 1 and 1/2″ tall. Flattening out the fan. The fan itself can be opened in a number of configurations, ranging from 90 degrees to 45 degrees.
How are the batteries removed?****
There is a little screw on top of the base, the portion that allows it to “stand.” Unscrew the screw to reveal arrows directing you to slide the battery cover open. The slide is difficult but keeps at it.
Is cleaning it simple? (Split apart)?****
Anything that has cables and is powered by batteries is difficult to clean. Simply wash the area around the fan, blade, and protective screen with a gently dampened towel, being careful not to get any liquid on the wires. Over the course of 3 to 4 months, it merely accumulates a little dust. It works well and is a pretty great tiny fan.

How do you shut off this fan without removing the batteries?****
An off/on high/low sliding switch is located on the side of the battery compartment, to the right of the 2cool sign, which is facing you while the fan is facing you. It shares the fan casing’s color.
