Product Information

The DW2-Wi-Fi is a wireless door/window sensor manufactured by SONOFF TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. It is designed to connect to your Wi-Fi network and provide real-time notifications when a door or window is opened or closed.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the DW2-Wi-Fi sensor, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the eWeLink app from the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or the App Store (for iOS devices).
2. Launch the eWeLink app and create an account if you don’t have one already.
3. Ensure that your smartphone or tablet is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
4. Press and hold the reset button on the DW2-Wi-Fi sensor until the LED indicator starts blinking.
5. In the eWeLink app, tap on the “+” icon to add a new device.
6. Select “Wi-Fi Door/Window Sensor” from the list of available devices.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the sensor to your Wi-Fi network.
8. Once connected, you can customize the sensor settings, such as notifications and alarm triggers, through the eWeLink app.

Operation instruction

1. Download the “eWeLink”APP

2. Install batteries

3. Remove the back cover of the transmitter.

4. Insert batteries into the battery compartment based on identifiers of positive and negative poles.

5. Close the back cover.
   The battery is not included, please purchase it separately.

6. Enter pairing mode

Long press the pairing button on the transmitter for 5s with the eject pin until the LED indicator flashes, then the device enters the pairing mode.

4. Add the device

Tap “+” and select “Bluetooth connect”, then operate following the prompt on the APP.

Install the device

1. Tear off the protective film of the 3M adhesive.

2. Try to align the mark line on the magnet with that on the transmitter during installation.

3. Install them in the opening and closing area separately.

Make sure the installation gap is less than 5mm when the door or the window is closed.

The device weight is less than 1 kg.
The installation height of less than 2 m is recommended.

LED indicator status instruction

Features

DW2-Wi-Fi is a Wi-Fi wireless door/window transmitter which triggers the transmitter by separating the magnet for more than 20mm from the transmitter, then the transmitter will send an alarm message and pushes it to APP. You can share the device with your family to check the door/window status together.

Application

Note:

• Do not install outside the door/window.
• Do not install in the unstable position or in the place exposed to rain or moisture.
• Do not install near wiring or magnetic object.
