Product Usage Instructions
- Choose the appropriate size and length of the Steel Raceway based on your wiring requirements.
- Identify the installation location on walls, modular furniture, under raised floors, or over ceilings.
- If needed, use the base and cover cutters to manually cut the raceway to the desired length.
- Position the raceway on the installation surface and secure it using appropriate mounting hardware.
- If wiring from outside sources is required, use the entrance knockouts spaced along the length of the base to bring in power wiring, communication cables, or A/V cables.
- If using prewired raceway, follow the specified job site lengths and install the raceway accordingly.
- If necessary, install the desired receptacles, circuit breaker housings, or other protective devices into the raceway.
- If using A/V devices, utilize the 5507 Series Faceplates for compatibility.
- Ensure proper electrical device identification for easy circuit tracing. Refer to page six of the user manual for labeling options.
- For datacom connectivity, use industry standard or proprietary devices compatible with the raceway to establish voice, data, audio, and video connections.
