Product Information

The TOWER-2000 PTC is a ceramic heater designed for well-insulated spaces or occasional use. It has a power output of 1,000 W on low mode and 2,000 W on high mode. The heater features a LCD screen, control panel, ceramic heater element (PTC), base oscillation, safety tilt switch, feet, main switch, remote control, receiver remote control, transport handle, and input air filter.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the heater, carefully remove the packaging and check for any defects or damage. If any issues are found, do not use or attempt to repair the equipment. Contact the dealer for assistance.
  2. Ensure the heater is placed on a stable surface and at least 1 meter away from the air outlet.
  3. Ensure that the on/off switches on both the base of the appliance and the control panel/remote control are turned on to operate the device.
  4. To preserve the life of the heating element, the appliance has an automatic cooling system. When you disconnect the appliance using the POWER button on the control panel/remote control, the fan will continue to run for 30 seconds. Do not unplug the heater by directly acting on the main foot switch or pulling the power cable. The heater offers three operating modes: fan cold air, low mode (1,000 W), and high mode (2,000 W). The selected power level will be maintained regardless of the room temperature.
  5. Note that the LCD screen displays the real temperature of the room.

Please read these instructions carefully before using this heater in order to avoid damage or any dangerous situations arising. Any use of the product other than that indicated in this manual may cause fi re, electrical danger, or injury and will make the warranty null and void.

  • The warranty does not cover any defect, deterioration, loss, injury, or damage that is due to incorrect use of the product. All legal rights in this regard are guaranteed. No warranty condition can exclude or change the warranty conditions regulated by State laws that may not be excluded or modifi ed for any reason.
  • Before doing anything else, remove the packaging carefully and check the integrity of the product. Should any defects or damage be found, do not use or attempt to repair the equipment, but contact the dealer.
  • Do not leave the packaging within reach of children and dispose of the parts in compliance with current provisions.
  • This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Make sure the power supply corresponds to the details shown on the nameplate.
  • This product has been designed as a mobile ceramic heater.
  • The heater must not be placed in a recessed place (under a table, desk, …) where it interferes with the free circulation of air, both the inlet and outlet.
  • The heater should not be placed immediately under the base of a PowerPoint.
  • Do not use the product in rooms filled with explosive gases or vapors generated by solvents and paints or that are infl amiable.
  • Do not insert any rigid body through the grilles, this could damage the heater, start a fi re or electric shock.
  • Never leave your home with the product still running. If you do go out make sure that the switch is off.
  • The device has high surface temperatures, which must not be touched, even after it has been switched off.
  • CAUTION: Some parts of this product may become hot and cause burns. Particular attention should be when children and vulnerable people are present.
  • WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate, and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children should not play with the product.
  • Before carrying out any maintenance work, or during long periods without use, make sure that the device has been disconnected from the mains.
  • Do not clean the product while it is working and do not immerse it in water.
  • Do not handle the heater with wet hands.
  • Do not coil the power cable around or on top of the product while it is working.
  • If the cable gets damaged it must be replaced by S&P – take the equipment to our official S&P because the work must be done by specialist personnel to avoid any risk of damage.
  • The heater must always work vertically, with the controls at the top and the base located on a stable surface.
  • Only for internal use.
  • Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool.
  • Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.
  • Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.
  • Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or if possible fi x it to a wall.
  • WARNING : Do not use this heater in rooms that are occupied by persons who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless permanent surveillance is provided.
  • WARNING : To reduce the risk of fi re, keep textiles, curtains, or other flammable material at least 1m away from the air outlet.

USE AND OPERATION

  • Before connecting the product to the power, make sure that it is located on a stable floor and has a fi rm vertical position. Remember that as a safety feature, the product incorporates a safety tilt switch under the base (Fig.1 D-E).
  • You can control the ceramic heater through the control panel (Fig.1B) or with the remote control (Fig.1G).
  • CONTROLS

POWER
The product has two on and off switches. One is generally located at the base of the appliance (Fig.1F) and the other is in the control panel / remote control. To operate the device, both must be on.
IMPORTANT : To preserve the life of the heating element (Fig. 1C), the appliance incorporates an automatic cooling system, so that when you disconnect the appliance using the POWER button of the control panel/ remote control, the fan continues to run for 30 seconds.
Do not unplug the heater by directly acting on the main foot switch (Fig.1 F) or pulling the power cable.

MODE
You can select up to 3 different operating modes:

  • FAN mode: Fan cold air.
  • LOW-HIGH Mode: Manual selection of the heater power.

The heater works to continuously select power, regardless of the room temperature.

  • AUTO Mode:
    • The power heater is self-adjusted automatically depending on the room temperature.
    • When you select this operating mode, using the +/- keys can be programmed (SET) the desired temperature in the room (+15 ~ +35ºC).
    • When the room temperature approaches the comfort temperature programmed by the user, the heater will automatically regulate the power while constantly maintaining the temperature in the room. Remember that the comfort temperature is between 21-22ºC.

Note : The LCD screen shows the real temperature of the room (ROOM TEMPERATURE).

  • TIMER
    You can set the heater operating time in fractions of ½ hour, up to a total of 8 hours. Once the time has elapsed, the heater will stop automatically.

  • OSC
    You can increase the area of air projection (hot/cold) oscillating the appliance.
    Note : Make sure the power cable is not twisted between the base and the oscillating body.

MAINTENANCE

  • Before carrying out any maintenance work, make sure that the device has been disconnected from the mains and let the heater cool down for a few minutes.
  • Periodically, to prevent the accumulation of dust, remove the filter support of the air inlet (posterior part) acting on the two release tabs. Clean the fi lter with cold water and let dry. Once dry, put it down again with your support. Then clean the rest of the appliance and air outlet grille, with a cloth dampened with water. Do not use detergents or abrasive products.
  • Do not immerse the device or spray it with water.
  • If the appliance is not to be used for any length of time, we recommend returning it to its original package and storing it in a dry, dust-free place.

RELEVANT INFORMATION FOR THE DISMANTLING, RECYCLING OR ELIMINATION OF THE PRODUCT AT THE END OF THE USEFUL LIFE
In the case of scrapping the appliance, the provisions corresponding to the disposal or recycling of the materials and components must be respected.
List of the main heater materials:

  • Internal and external laterals of ABS PC plastic.
  • Electronic plates with tin.
  • Electric cables.
  • Heating element (aluminum and ceramic).
  • Motor (steel, aluminum, and copper).

PUTTING OUT OF-SERVICE AND RECYCLING

EEC legislation and our consideration of future generations mean that we should always recycle materials where possible; please do not forget to deposit all packaging in the appropriate recycling bins. If your device is also labeled with this symbol, please take it to the nearest Waste Management Plant at the end of its ser-viable life.
