Important Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before use and keep for future reference.

To prevent damage to this product – unplug when not in use.

Do not use or install this unit where it will be exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

Do not use where unit it will be exposed to moisture, dripping or splashing liquids.

Keep away from naked flames, such as lit candles.

If water gets inside the unit, unplug the adaptor from the supply socket and consult your dealer.

Do not handle the power adaptor or unit with wet hands.
Repairs/servicing should be undertaken by qualified service personnel. -
Do not drop the unit, spill liquid into it or allow objects to fall on it.

Only use the power adaptor supplied. If the power adaptor needs to be replaced make sure the rating is the same: output 5VDC 30mA

The unit is designed to operate in temperatures from 0~40°C.
Do not use or store the unit in hotter or colder areas. -
Remove batteries if unused for long periods.
Features include:
- Transmits music from your portable device to your home or car FM stereo.
- Compatible with any device with a 3.5mm jack audio output including iPhones, iPods, iPads and other MP3/media players.
- Cigarette lighter power adaptor included for in-car power. Alternatively 2x AAA batteries (not supplied) can be inserted in the transmitter battery compartment to provide power.

Setup
Fitting Batteries:
The FM transmitter can be powered either by your car using the cigarette
lighter adaptor or by internal batteries. To fit batteries remove the battery
compartment cover on the back of the Transmitter and insert 2x AAA batteries
(not supplied) as shown – ensure that the positive (+) and negative (-)
symbols on the batteries match the symbols inside the battery compartment.
Replace the battery cover.
Connections:
If using the cigarette lighter adaptor, first connect the adaptor lead to
the base of the Transmitter and plug the adaptor into the cigarette lighter
socket. Next uncoil the 3.5mm jack lead from around the Transmitter and plug
the 3.5mm plug into the headphone socket of your audio source.
Setting the time:
When in standby mode and not transmitting to any FM stations, the FM
Transmitter displays a clock on its display.
To set the time:

Turn the unit on by pressing the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds, until the display lights up.

Press and hold the SET button until the hour digits starts flashing.
Use the buttons to change the hour. -
Press SET to set the hour. The minute digits will start flashing.

Use the buttons to change the minutes. Press SET to confirm the time.
Operation
Transmitting Your Music:
The Wireless FM Transmitter can broadcast on any frequency available on your
FM radio.
To play your music through your radio:
- Turn on your radio and scan the FM stations to find an empty frequency. Empty frequencies will be any that have white noise or hissing sounds.
- Make sure the display on your FM Transmitter is on. Press ON/OFF to switch the digits displayed from clock to frequency display.
- Use the buttons to select the same frequency as displayed on your radio, your music will be broadcast to this frequency.
- Press and hold M1, M2 or M3 for 3 seconds to set your frequency. This will allow you to save the empty frequency under that button for future use. This frequency channel will be displayed at the top of the display.
- Use the controls on your portable music player as normal to play your music. The volume can be controlled via your portable music player or your radio, as desired.
Troubleshooting: **

Problem | What to do |

Bad Sound quality | The FM Transmitter works best when tuned to the clearest |
frequency possible. For the best performance, make sure the frequency you
choose doesn’t have a strong radio station close to it.
Try adjusting the volumes on your music player and radio to avoid sound
distortion.
No sound| Make sure the radio frequencies on the FM Transmitter and your radio
match. Make sure the FM Transmitter is on the correct setting, your music
player is turned on and is playing a track.
