Product Usage Instructions

Display Interface Description

How to Wake Up the Product
Press the short button or LED power button to wake up the product from sleep mode.

How to Use the Car Jumpstart Function
Follow these steps to use the car jumpstart function:

1. Step 1: Insert the clamps cable connector into the EC8 jumpstart output port of the product.
2. Step 2: Connect the positive and negative clamps to the respective terminals of the car battery. Expect a slight spark during the connection process.
3. Step 3: Check the product display screen for the voltage reading, indicating successful connection. The car can now be started.
4. If the car starts successfully, the power output of the clamps will automatically turn off.
5. In some cases, the vehicle may require additional time (30-120 seconds) connected to the Jumpstarter for the battery to recharge before starting.
6. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait for 20-30 seconds and try again. Avoid more than 5 consecutive starts within 15 minutes.
7. After use, remove the clamps and long press the Power button for 2 seconds to shut down. The product will also shut down automatically if not operated for 60 seconds.

How to Use the Voltmeter Function
To use the voltmeter function, follow these steps:

1. Connect the clamps to the product’s EC8 jumpstart output port.
2. Connect the positive and negative clamps to the respective terminals of the car battery. Ensure a secure connection.
3. The green light on the main interface will flash, and the voltage of the Jumpstarter in parallel with the car battery will be displayed.
4. To only check the voltage of the car battery, short press the Power button to exit the start mode. The Jumpstarter will enter the measurement mode, and the display will show only the voltage value of the car battery.

How to Use the Car Jumpstart Function

1. Method one: Normal jumpstart
2. Connect the positive and negative of the product clamps to the positive and negative of the car battery respectively, and make sure the connection is good;
3. Wake up the product, short press the “LED light” button or short press the “Switch” button, if the connection is good, the green light on the display panel will be on and flashing, and the positive and negative voltages of the startup power supply in parallel with the car will be displayed at the same time. The car can be started at this time;
4. If the car starts successfully, the product will automatically turn off the power output of clamps;
5. In most cases, the vehicle will start successfully at the first start operation. Some vehicles may need to be connected to the Jumpstarter for 30~120 seconds (At this time, the product will recharge the car battery) to start the operation. If the vehicle does not start immediately , please wait 20-30 seconds, then try again, no more than 5 consecutive starts within 15 minutes;
6. After use, please remove the clamps, long press the “Power” button for 2 seconds to shut down, if the product is not operated for 60 seconds, the product will shut down automatically.

Method two: Force Start
(Safety reminder: Some safety protection mechanisms in this mode are invalid and need to be used with caution. Be sure to prevent the positive and negative from being connected together to cause a short circuit, otherwise it will lead to product damage, sparks, and other more serious consequences. You must check before operation manual)

1. When the normal start function fails, for example: the voltage of the car battery is very low (the voltage is less than 1V), you can use the forced emergency start function after checking the operating manual.
2. Step 1: Insert the Clamps cable connector into the EC8 jumpstart output port of the product.
3. Step 2: In the power-on state, long press the “Power-on + LIGHT” button for 3 seconds to enter the forced start mode. At this time, the green light on the main interface will be on, indicating that the jumpstart output is turned on. At this time, prevent the positive and negative from being connected together to cause a short circuit; (In this mode, it is required to turn on the forced start function first, and then connect the clamps to the car battery, otherwise the output cannot be turned on).
4. Step 3: Connect the positive and negative of the clamps to the positive and negative of the car battery respectively (there will be a slight spark during the connection process, which is normal), and make sure that the connection is good. At this time, the product display screen will display the voltage of the jumpstarter in parallel with the car battery, and the car can be started;
5. Short press the “Power” button to exit force start mode.

How to Use the Voltmeter Function

1. Connect the clamps to the product EC8 jumpstart output port.
2. Connect the positive and negative of the clamps to the positive and negative of the car battery respectively, and make sure the connection is good;
3. At this time, the green light on the main interface will flash, and the voltage of the Jumpstarter in parallel with the car battery will be displayed. After entering the start mode, if you want to only check the voltage of the car battery, short press the “Power” button to exit the start mode, the Jumpstarter will enter the measurement mode, and then the “green light” will go out, and the display only shows the voltage value of the car battery.
4. Disconnect the jumpstarter clamps from the car battery and exit the voltmeter function mode.

How to Charge

Ready to charge: power adapter that supports PD protocol, USB-C To USBC cable Cigarette lighter plug to DC wires;

Two Charging Ways：

1. Using the USB cable to connect the power adapter with USB-C charging port of the product
2. Using the cigarette lighter plug to DC wires to connect the car cigarette lighter and DC input port of the product. The battery indicator on the screen is on in marquee, the IN icon is on, indicating that the product is charging normally,if the FAST symbol is on means fast charging. When the power of the product is exhausted or in the case of low power, please charge it in time to prevent abnormal battery undervoltage. Long-term zero battery state may cause the product to fail to charge.

Charge Your Phone with USB-A
Ready to charge your phone:USB-A To USB-C cable, mobile phone (if the mobile phone supports 9V2A of QC3.0 protocol, it can support 9V2A fast charge). Connect the A port of the USB cable to the product, and the C port to the Type-C charging port of the mobile phone. After the charging is successful, the “OUT” icon of the product flashes (Note: When the USB-C output is used alone to charge the electrical device successfully, the OUT icon flashes, When USB-C and USB-A are outputting at the same time, the OUT icon will light up).

LED Light Function

Safety Instructions

1. Please read the User Manual carefully before using the LOKITHOR J402 multi-function startup power supply:1. Please operate in strict accordance with the instructions, improper operation may lead to serious safety accidents.
2. The starting power supply is only used to start the 12V engine, and cannot start vehicles that exceed the specified displacement or exceed the specified voltage (12V).
3. Forced start mode, in this mode, part of the safety protection mechanism is invalid. Please use with caution, be sure to prevent short circuit to connect wrong with positive and negative poles, otherwise it may cause accident. Please check the operating instructions carefully before operation.
4. In order to prolong the service life of the internal battery, please charge the device in time when you get it, and charge and discharge the device every three months to ensure that the starting power is in good condition for the next use.
5. Do not use the product that has been excessive shocked, dropped or other forms of damage
6. Do not disassemble the product. Please contact professional maintenance personnel to repair and handle the abnormal product.
7. Do not use the product to start the vehicle while the product is in charging.
8. Be careful during operation to avoid metal tools falling on product interface (it may cause short circuit, equipment damage and explosion).
9. When using the product, ensure that the surrounding area of the starting power supply is well ventilated.
10. When jump starting the car, make sure that the positive and negative poles of the cable are in good contact with the positive and negative poles of the car battery.
11. Prohibit sparks, flames near the product and car engine. In order to prevent short-circuit sparks from damaging the product, it is forbidden to connect the positive with negative clamps together or contact the same metal
12. Do not place the starting power supply where children can easily touch it.
13. Do not expose the product to rain and snow.
14. Do not place the device in extreme environments for a long time (such as high temperature: greater than 131°F (55°C), extreme cold: less than 14°F (-10°C), humidity: humidity> 80%);
15. Please store the product in a cool and dry place, and take protective measures when necessary.
16. When the product power is exhausted or in low power, please charge it in time to prevent battery undervoltage. Long-term zero-voltage states may cause the product to fail to charge.

Precautions
There is no maintainable part of the device for user. Do not disassemble the product. Any maintenance should be handled by professional maintenance personnel.

1. When over 50% capacity, the product can be used to start the vehicle quickly,with insufficient power may not be able to start the vehicle effectively;
2. It is normal for the body to heat up after the product is turned on;
3. In order to maximize the product cycle life, please charge it at least once every 3 months;
4. If the product leaks or emits any odor when turn on, please stop using it and contact Lokithor customer service immediately;
5. Do not connect the red clamp to the black clamp, it may cause danger;
6. Please only use the original clamps;
7. Please keep the product away from fire and water to avoid accidents;
8. Do not place the product in an environment above 60°C or expose it to sunlight; please store the unit in a cool and dry place;
9. Do not disassemble or modify this product without authorization;
10. Do not hit, press or shake violently to start the product, otherwise it may cause fire, explosion and combustion;
11. Do not use chemical cleaners to clean the product;
12. Keep this product away from children.

Handling & Recycling 

1. Do not dispose of it with other household waste to prevent irreparable harm to the environment or humans;
2. Please separate it from other types of waste and recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable use of material resources.

Warranty

For any defects in material and workmanship,12 months warranty offered from the date of purchase by the user, subject to the following conditions:

1. The purchaser must provide the receipt proof (order page details/invoice, etc.) of the regular dealer channel to apply for after-sales;
2. The warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by normal wear and tear, physical damage, improper installation, misuse, modification or repair by unauthorized third parties;
3. Any loss or damage caused by a third party in transit or due to majeure will not be warranted;
4. Any incidental or consequential damage caused by misuse will not be warranted;
5. All warranty claims are limited to repair or replacement of defective products at our sole discretion;
6. If repair or replace the product, the product will cover the remainder of the original warranty period. Repairs or replacements may involve the use of functionally identical refurbished equipment, returned products or accessories, at our discretion;
7. Consumable parts such as batteries are not covered by the warranty;
