Product Information
The MA40F & MA40T Mini Amplifiers are compact audio amplifiers designed for various applications. They are equipped with multiple input and output terminals to connect to audio sources and speakers. The amplifiers are capable of delivering high-quality sound with a power output suitable for small to medium-sized spaces.
Important Safety Instructions
- Read and keep these instructions for future reference.
- Do not expose the amplifier to rain or moisture to prevent the risk of fire or electric shock.
- The lightning flash symbol within an equilateral triangle indicates the presence of dangerous voltages that may pose a risk of electric shock.
- The exclamation point symbol within an equilateral triangle indicates important operating and maintenance instructions in the accompanying literature.
- Ensure proper ventilation by not blocking any ventilation openings during installation.
- Avoid placing the amplifier near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing devices.
- Do not modify the polarized or grounding-type plug as it serves a safety purpose. Consult an electrician if the plug does not fit the outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at plugs and the point where it exits the amplifier.
- Use only attachments and accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- If using a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, exercise caution to prevent tip-over injuries.
- Unplug the amplifier during lightning storms or when not in use for extended periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel if the amplifier is damaged, exposed to moisture, operates abnormally, or has been dropped.
- Avoid exposing the amplifier to dripping or splashing liquids and ensure no liquid-filled objects are placed on it.
- The mains plug should remain easily accessible and can be used to disconnect the amplifier from the power source.
- Terminals marked with the symbol may carry dangerous voltages. Only an instructed person should handle the external wiring connected to these terminals.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the MA40F/MA40T Mini Amplifiers, follow these steps:
- Ensure the amplifier is placed on a stable surface away from water sources.
- Connect the audio source (such as a music player or microphone) to the appropriate input terminals using compatible cables.
- Connect the speakers to the output terminals using suitable speaker wires.
- Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded power outlet.
- Turn on the amplifier using the power switch/button.
- Adjust the volume and other settings as desired using the control knobs or buttons provided.
- To protect the amplifier and connected devices, unplug it during lightning storms or when not in use for extended periods of time.

E considerations
and
ampli ers fully conform to the relevant electromagnetic
compati ility E standards and are technically well ehaved. ou should
e perience no pro lems interfacing units to other items of equipment and under
normal circumstances no special precautions need to e ta en. f the unit is to
e used in close pro imity to potential sources of distur ance such as high
power communication transmitters radar stations and the li e it is suggested that
input signal leads e ept as short as possi le. lways use alanced interconnections
wherever possi le. e recommend that the
ampli er is not located
in close pro imity to a high-power ampli er or similar item of equipment which
may radiate a strong magnetic eld from its power transformer.
Earthing
hen several mains powered units are connected together via their signal ca les
there is a ris of one or more earth loops which may cause an audi le hum on
the system even with the gain controls set to minimum. he rail of an
ampli er is directly coupled to the chassis ground. o interconnection pro lems
should e encountered ut if there is any hum or other e traneous noise when
source equipment is connected the situation can generally e remedied y o
serving the following guidelines:
1. lways connect sources using alanced connections wherever possi le. ote
that for E reasons the ca le screen should e connected at oth ends.
2. se audio isolating transformers readily availa le from trade suppliers at
the inputs if necessary. hese will ensure that the ampli er is electrically
isolated from the source equipment.
3. he signal source units should e located as close as practical to the ampli
er. he metal housings of the various units should not e electrically
connected. ry to ensure that all interconnected units including power ampli
ers are
connected to a common power source to ensure a common ground is provided.
