Installation Instructions:

  1. Install the generator cable to the charger.
  2. Install the charging cables in the charger. Be sure to install a fuse and a ferrite filter.
  3. Place the rubber mat on the rail.
  4. Insert the rail.
  5. Apply sealant around the bolts on the inside.
  6. When the turbine has been installed correctly, there should be a gap of approximately 3mm between the turbine and generator.
  7. Select the length of the screws according to the thickness of  the base.
  8. Mark the location of the charger in a dry place with the help  of the included stencil.
  9. Screw on the charger, leaving space around it for cooling.
  10. Create a feedthrough to the transom of the boat for the connector.
  11. Insert the cable through the hole and insulate the feedthrough with sealant.
  12. Fasten the connector with two wood screws.

Connecting the Cables:

Make sure the cables have the correct polarities (+, -). Incorrect installation may cause breakage of the charging unit.

  • The numbered wires should be connected to the corresponding numbered screw terminals of the generator connection of the charger.
  • Carefully connect the charging wires to the appropriate apertures with the ledarna dras till de erforderliga positionerna.

Blade Adjustment:

  1. Detach the locking pin cotter and pull out the pin to adjust the blade to a suitable height.
  2. Lock the blade by securing the pin and locking pin cotter back in place.

Outboard Unit Installation:

  1. Slide the outboard unit down the frame along the rail.
  2. Lock the outboard unit to the rail by pushing the handle down to the bottom position.
  3. To adjust the angle, press the angle adjustment knob so that its bottom rises.
  4. Slide the knob along the angle guide to a desired position.
  5. The angle of the outboard unit should be perpendicular to the surface of the water.

Boat Connection:

Connect the cable connector to the feedthrough connector installed in the boat.

Rail installation

  1. Mounting parts
  2. Mark the locations of the holes
  3. Drill the holes Ø 8 mm
  4. Slide the bolts into place
  5. Place the rubber mat on the rail
  6. Place the rubber mat on the rail
  7. Insert the rail
  8. Apply sealant around the bolts on the inside
  9. Place the reinforcement plate, rubber washers, washers and nuts on top of the bolts and tighten

Mounting the turbine

  1. Slide the turbine onto the shaft
  2. Insert the screw and washers and tighten
  3. When the turbine has been installed correctly, there is a gap of ~3mm between the turbine and generator
  4. Select the lenght of the screws according to the thickness of the base
  5. Mark the location of the charger in a dry place with the help of the included stencil
  6. Screw on the charger. Space must be left around the charger for cooling

Installing the cable feedthrough

  1. A feedthrough is made to the transom of the boat for the connector (1)
  2. Drill a hole for the connector in the transom
  3. Insert the cable through the hole and insulate the feedthrough with sealant
  4. Fasten the connector with two wood screws

Connecting the cables

The numbered wires should be connected to the corresponding numbered screw terminals of the generator connection of the charger

Carefully connect the charging wires to the appropriate apertures with the + and – wires in their appropriate locationsAdjustments before operation

  1. Detach the locking pin cotter and pull out the pin to adjust the blade to a suitable height
  2. Lock the blade by securing the pin and locking pin cotter back in place
  3. We recommend to use a safety rope
  4. Do not tie the safety rope to the locking handle

Attaching the outboard unit to the rail

  1. Lift the locking handle to the top position
  2. Slide the outboard unit down the frame along the rail
  3. Lock the outboard unit to the rail by pushing the handle down to the bottom position
  4. To adjust the angle, first press the angle adjustment knob so that its bottom rises.
  5. Then slide the knob along the angle guide to a desired position
  6. The angle of the outboard unit should be perpendicular to the surface of the water
  7. Connect the cable connector to the feedthrough connector installed in the boat
  8. The device is ready for use! Charging starts automatically when the turbine starts rotating
