Product Information

The RE1010 Long Rail manual is a product package that includes a 60 cm long rail, bolts required for installation, a rubber mat, and rubber washers. The package is designed to be used as an extension to the shorter rail, and it can be installed in the same way as the shorter rail. The locking handle of the outboard unit requires a small modification to allow the outboard unit to slide down the long rail all the way down. Product Usage Instructions

1. Raise the handle to the up position and place a small wooden board under the handle ledge.
2. Measure the cutting point (10 mm) and draw it with a marker on the protrusion of the handle.
3. Saw with a hacksaw along the marked line on the protrusion of the handle.
4. Sand the cutting surface evenly using a file.
5. Once the handle is modified, the outboard unit can slide all the way down along the rail.

The package can be installed using the connection illustration provided in the manual. The package includes a PR-01 protection relay (optional accessory), Remoran Charger 300W, Ferrite filter, Fuse (40A), Main switch, and Battery. Modify the handle to fit the rail

1. Raise the handle to the up position and place a small wooden board under the handle ledge.

4. Sand the cutting surface evenly with a file.
5. When the handle is modified, the outboard unit can slide all the way down along the rail.

Rail installation

Mark the locations of the holes with a marker pen on the transom and drill three Ø 8 mm holes for the bolts. Place the middle bolt slightly below the center of the rail, as the maximum force is at the lower end of the rail when the device is in use (see figure).
