Safe through and through
- is the label for proven safety.
- is entirely in line with the new Federal Product Safety Act (PrSG; SR 930.11), which aims to provide the consumer with the greatest possible protection.
- is the label of the certification body of the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI) for electrical products in accordance with the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Electrical Products (NEV; SR 734.26). ESTI has been accredited since 1996 as a certification body according to EN 45011 with the accreditation number SCESp0033 of SAS.
- is assigned to certification type 2 according to ISO, i.e. type testing with market surveillance, and thus meets higher requirements for electrotechnical safety than self-declaration with the CE mark.
Safety instructions
- Mains connection: The voltage must comply with that shown on the appliance label.
- Regulary check if the power cable / appliance / extension lead is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances (incl. mains lead) – have repairs carried out / obtain replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s service point or from qualified experts.
- Don’t pull the flex over sharp edges. Don’t wedge it. Don’t bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks. Never pull on the mains cable / with damp hands.
- Always switch off the device and plug out the power cable whenever you leave it unattended, before assembling / disassembling, cleaning, when it fails to work properly, after use.
- Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Don’t wind the flex around the appliance.
- Never immerse appliance in water / other fluids. Danger of shortcircuiting!
- Do not use this appliance near the water (bath-tubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using appliance!
- Should however the appliance fall into water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not use the appliance anymore. It has to be checked by an authorized service department first.
- Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury! Only trained experts should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.
- Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge may only use the appliance if they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or if they have been shown how to use the appliance safely and they have understood the risks inherent in its use. Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by chil- dren without supervision.
- Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children.
- Never place the appliance / cable on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store / expose the appliance to intense heat (from radiators, prolonged sunshine). Only extinguish burning appliances using a fire blanket.
- Do not use attachments not recommended / sold by the manufacturer.
- The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
- Use the appliance on a dry, even, stable and heat resistant surface. Allow appliance to cool before storing away.
- Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children aged under 8. Never leave the appliance un attended while in operation.
- No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose, wrongly operated or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated or connected to an external timer or separate remote control switch.
- Never place fingers or objects into appliance openings. Do not cover appliance opening.
- The appliance will become very hot during use – do not touch, otherwise you may burn yourself. Only touch the handle.
- Never operate the appliance empty. Never move appliance when filled.
- Never use without cover and egg holder. Never remove the cover when in use – danger of burns!
- Do not overfill the steam generator.
- Device suitable for cooking eggs and steaming vegetables within the scope of the operating instructions.
Disposal
- Make worn out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord. Electric appliances are to be returned to a shop of sale or handed over to an official dump. No household waste. Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Reheat function for already cooked eggs After cooking: Keep eggs warm in
the appliance Allow appliance to cool for 5 min. before boiling more eggs
Conservation after cooking: ~ 2 days, can be kept one week in fridge.
The device is suitable for eggs and finely chopped vegetables. Depending on
the type of vegetable, the vegetables must already be precooked.
Depending on the egg size, temperature of the egg before cooking and freshness
of the egg, the cooking time varies.
Use
Prepare
After use
Add a few drops of cooking oil to the cups, add 20 ml of water,
place on the egg holder.
Crack the egg and pour it into the cups put the lid on, cook “Reheat Hard”.
Cleaning
Disconnect from mains first and allow the appliance to cool.
Never immerse device in water or hold under running water !

Cover with vinegar for a few minutes, empty, clean with a damp cloth
Warranty information
With this appliance you get a 5 year guarantee starting from the date of
purchase. Under the guarantee, in the case of material or manufacturing
defects, the appliance will be replaced or repaired. Replacement with a new
appliance or money back return is not possible. Excluded from the guarantee is
normal wear and tare, commercial use, alterations to the appliance as
purchased, cleaning activities, consequences of improper use or damage by the
purchaser or a third person, damage, that can be attributed to external
circumstances or caused by the batteries. The guarantee requires that the
faulty appliance be returned at the purchaser’s expense along with the retail
outlets dated and signed guarantee card or a sales receipt.
