- DO NOT open this product. It contains no user-serviceable parts.
- To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.
- CAUTION: When transferring product from extreme temperature environments, (e.g. cold truck to warm humid ballroom) condensation may form on the internal electronics of the product. To avoid causing a failure, allow product to fully acclimate to the surrounding environment before connecting it to power.
- CAUTION: This product’s housing may be hot when lights are operating.
- DO NOT leave any flammable material within 50 cm of this product while operating or connected to power.
- USE a safety cable when mounting this product overhead.
- DO NOT submerge this product (IP65). Regular outdoor operation is fine.
- DO NOT operate this product if the housing or cables appear damaged.
- DO NOT connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat.
- ONLY connect this product to a grounded and protected circuit.
- ONLY use the hanging/mounting bracket to carry this product.
- Operating Temperature: -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to 50 °C).
- In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.

Product Overview
AC Power
This product has an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input
voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
AC Plug
To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non- use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

Power Linking
You can link up to 50 F6 Strip IP products at 120 V, 55 products at 208 V, or 60 products at 230 V. Never exceed this number. -
Signal Connection
The F6 Strip IP can link to a VIP Drive 83R Nova from CHAUVET using a 2-In-1 Video Input Cable from CHAUVET. Download the User Manual for the VIP Drive 83R Nova from www.chauvetprofessional.com for more details. -
Scrambled Pulse-Width Modulation
This product features Scrambled-PWM (S-PWM) technology, which de-synchronizes the pulse widths of each color of the multi-color LEDs. This ensures that there is always some LED output, reducing flicker, and maintaining the same grayscale performance.
Filter Installation
The F6 Strip IP includes a Square Milky Filter already installed. Follow the procedure below to install the included Black Stealth Filter.
- Locate the end of the product that does not have the interlocking hardware.
- Push in on the filter latch.
- Slide the installed filter out and replace it with the desired filter.
- Release the filter latch.
Mounting
Before mounting this product, read the Safety Notes. Make sure the mounting
devices are capable of supporting the weight of the product. For our Chauvet

Mounting Diagram
Series Attachment Instructions
The F6 Strip IP can be attached in an end to end formation to create a strip up to 4 meters long from one mounting point. Do not connect any more than 4 F6 Strip IP products in a row when hanging vertically.
- Loosen the 3 fastening eye bolts.
- Slide the connecting bracket out until it stops and tighten the eye bolt closest to the center of the product.
- If desired, rotate the connecting bracket as desired and tighten the middle eye bolt.
- Slide the connecting bracket into the second F6 Strip IP and tighten the remaining eye bolt(s).
- Attach the safety cables as shown in Vertical Mounting Instructions.
Install the safety cable last when attaching F6 Strip IP products in series.
Vertical Mounting Instructions
- Attach the clamp to the mounting bracket.
- Attach the clamp to the desired structure or surface.
- Attach a safety cable to the product’s safety loop.
Never attach more than 4 products together when hanging vertically from a single mounting point.
