Please read these instructions carefully before us-ing the device, in particular the safety instructions. Keep the instructions in a safe place for future ref-erence. If you pass the device on to third parties, be sure to include these instructions for use.

Do not use the unit if you suffer from one or more of the following illnesses and complaints: Circulatory disorders, varicose veins, open wounds, bruises, skin tears, phlebitis or thrombosis.
Do not use the unit if you are pregnant. Special care is necessary when the appliance is used on, by or near children, sick and helpless persons.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per-sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experien-ce and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concer-ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without super-vision.
Do not use this unit to supplement or replace medical treatment. Chronic com-plaints and symptoms may be made worse.
Do not use the appliance near your eyes or near any other sensitive areas.
Very long periods of use can lead to overheating. So after continuously ope-rating for 15 minutes, user should stop it for at least 15 minutes before using it again.
Do not use the appliance if it shows signs of damage, if it is not in perfect wor-king order, or if it has been dropped or dipped into water. In order to prevent hazards, always send the unit in to the service centre.
Only use accessories intended for the appliance and supplied by the manu-facturer.

Advantages of the massage pad attachment
The 2in1 massage pad attachment is made of natural loofah material (a pumpkin plant equipped with fibrous netting) for intensive exfoliation and soft microfibre material for a pleasant massage. It allows flexible use on legs, shoulders, neck, arms, feet and other parts of the body.

Make sure that the maximum operating time of 15 minutes is not exceeded.

Insert/replace batteries

Turn the bottom of the unit so that the two arrows on the bottom and top of the unit are aligned to each other.
Remove the bottom of the unit.
Note: There is a seal between the two parts of the appliance to prevent water from entering, which makes removing the bottom of the appliance difficult.
Open the battery compartment cover and remove the batteries. Insert two new AAA (1.5 V) batteries. Make sure that the polarity (+/-) is correct.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Put the bottom of the unit back to the top and turn the unit parts against each other to close them securely.

WARNING – BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

Replace all of the batteries simultaneously!
Only replace with batteries of the same type, never use different types of batteries together or used batteries with new ones!
Insert the batteries correctly, observing the polarity!
Remove the batteries from the device if it is not going to be used for an extended period!
Keep batteries out of children‘s reach!
Do not attempt to recharge these batteries! There is a danger of explosion!
Do not short-circuit! Do not throw into a fire! Danger of explosion!
Do not throw used batteries into the household refuse; put them in a hazardous waste container or take them to a battery collection point, at the shop where they were purchased.

The correct way of massage
The 3 massage heads 3 start to vibrate after pressing the ON/OFF button 1 (vibration massage). You can perform the massage on yourself or on a partner. You have the option of hooking the massage pad attachment included in the scope of delivery either with the loofah side or the microfibre side facing outwards into the 4 hooking tongues on the unit 2. If the loofah side is facing downwards, the skin contact of the loofah fabric in combination with the vibration massage causes a massage with peeling effect (removal of unsightly skin flakes and stimulation of blood circulation).
The microfibre side is suitable for soft and soothing skin cleansing. The massage should always be performed with a moist massage pad attachment in circular movements all over the body. The effect is enhanced if the massage is performed on wet skin (e.g. after showering or bathing). With the appliance switched on, hold the massage heads 3 with gentle pressure on the part of the body to be massaged. Do not concentrate on the same part of the body for too long during the massage, but change the massage area more frequently during the application. You can decide which effect you want to achieve by the direction of the massage: A massage towards the heart relaxes, a massage away from the heart stimulates. Press the ON/OFF button 1 again to switch the unit off.

WARNING

Only hold the appliance with gentle pressure on the part of the body to be massaged! Excessive pressure can cause injuries and/or impair the function of the unit!

Cleaning and care

Remove the batteries before cleaning the unit.
Clean the unit with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution. Never use harsh cleaning agents or alcohol.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, protect it from dirt and moisture.
Store the unit in a clean and dry place.

Cleaning the massage pad attachment
After use, the massage pad attachment should be cleaned to remove bacteria and skin particles left behind from the application. Soaking in a solution of warm water and household vinegar (approx. 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 glass of water) is very suitable for this. Soak for a few minutes and then rinse! You can also wash the attachment in the washing machine at 60°C (do not use fabric softener!). The attachment must dry completely after cleaning to prevent bac- teria from multiplying in the wet tissue. To do this, squeeze out the moisture thoroughly with your hands and hang the attachment up, preferably outside of damp rooms, until it is completely dry.

Replacing the massage pad attachment
The massage pad attachment can also be used for many months with daily use and proper care. Disposal

Warranty and repair conditions

In case of warranty please contact your specialist shop or the service centre directly. Should you have to return the device, please state the defect and enclose a copy of the purchase receipt or invoice.
The following warranty conditions apply:

All medisana products are guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the purchase receipt or invoice must
be provided as proof of purchase date.
Faults due to material or manufacturing defects will be rectified free of charge within the warranty period.
A warranty service does not extend the warranty period for either the equipment or for replacement components.
The following are excluded from the warranty:
a. any damage caused by improper use, e.g. not following the user instructions.
b. damage caused by repair or intervention by the purchaser or unauthorised third parties.
c. transport damage that has occurred on the way from the manufacturer to the consumer or has arisen during transit to the service point.
d. spare parts that are subject to normal wear and tear.
Liability for direct or indirect consequential damages caused by the device is also excluded if the damage to the device is recognised as a warranty
claim.
