1.1 General Hint
It is highly recommended to provide the user’s manual for the different target
markets in the national official language/languages. To avoid any problems in
customs or during market surveillance process. It is also recommended to have
the same product identification in the product label, the packaging, the

Specific requirement for France: From 1 July 2020, according to “Decree No. 2019-1186 relating to the display of the Specific Absorption Rate of radio equipment” (NOR: SSAP1834791D), the specific absorption rate value (SAR) for any radio equipment with an output greater than 20 mW and which is likely to be used in a reasonably foreseeable manner near the head or at a distance of less than or equal to 20 cm from the human body shall be provided in a legible, intelligible and visible manner in the user manual. This requirement is currently applicable only to mobile phone devices, according to “Decree No. 2010-1207 relating to the display of the Specific Absorption Rate of radio terminal equipment (NOR: SASP1011528D).

This device will be installed into specific carlines with an antenna

The warning sign must be included for devices that are not short range
devices.
All MGU products are not considered short range devices, because they support
BT & WLAN.
In articles 16 and 17 it says that the warning and the QR must be placed in
the packaging; but since the devices are integrated in the cars at the time of
importing and they do not have boxes, the authority accepts to be placed in
the UM.
CHAPTER III
LABEL AND WARNING SIGNS

- Before being sold and/or used, every telecommunication tool and/or device, which has been certified must be attached with Label and QR Code as specified in the Certificate for telecommunication tools and/or devices. (2)
- Telecommunication tools and/or devices, other than short range devices must be attached with warning signs by Certificate holders.
