Product Information
The product is a 36” Tower Fan with a remote control. It is manufactured by Sunbeam Products, Inc. The model number is HTF3650 and the article number is ART0000868839. The fan is designed for household use and is not intended for commercial or industrial applications. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, unplug the fan from the power source.
- To remove the plug from the receptacle or outlet, grasp it and pull it out. Do not pull on the cord.
- Open the fuse cover located on the top of the plug by sliding it down towards the prongs using your thumb or a flathead screwdriver.
- Ensure that the fuse cover is fully open before attempting to remove the fuse.
- Carefully remove the fuse by using a small screwdriver to pry it out of the compartment using the metal ends of the fuse.
- Place the plug on a solid, flat surface.
- Insert a new 5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse into the fuse compartment.
- Secure the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment using a small screwdriver.
- Slide the fuse cover closed completely. If it is difficult to close, make sure the fuse is secured in place by pressing down on the metal ends.
- Do not replace the attachment plug. If it is damaged, discard the product.
- Clean the fan grill, housing, and base with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid removing the fan blade.
- Exercise caution around the motor housing area and avoid exposing the motor or other electrical components to water.

- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards.

- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR DEFEAT THIS SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.

Estimated assembly time: 5-10 minutes
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ALL CONTENTS FROM THE PACKAGE. PLEASE CHECK
PACKAGING MATERIALS FOR PARTS THAT COULD BE REQUIRED TO OPERATE YOUR FAN.
- Unscrew locking fastener from the bottom of the tower fan. Assemble base halves around power cord. To secure the base halves together, slide the posts of one base half into the slots of the second base half. Refer to Figure 2.
- Line up the holes of the base halves with the pegs located on the bottom of the fan housing. Secure with the locking fastener. Refer to Figure 2.
- Secure power cord using the cable channel on the bottom of base.
- Turn fan to upright postion and place on a dry and level surface.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

- Plug the cord into a standard 120 volt AC outlet.
- To turn the fan on, press the power button ( ) located on the control panel or remote control.
- Press the speed button ( ) to cycle through the below 4 speed settings in sequence. The corresponding light ring section will illuminate to confirm the selection:
- 4-Turbo
- 3-High
- 2-Medium
- 1-Low
- To turn the oscillation on and off, press the oscillation button ( ) located on the control panel or remote control. The ring around the oscillation icon ( ) will illuminate on the Control Panel.
- To set your fan to automatically shut off, press the timer button ( ) located on the control panel or the remote control. When set, the fan will run and automatically shut off after the set duration of time (2, 4, 6, 8 hours) has expired.
- To activate sleep mode ( ), press the sleep/breeze ( ) located on the control panel or remote control. This function slows the fan speed down, and when used in conjunction with the timer settings, will ultimately turn the fan off.
- To activate the breeze mode ( ), press the sleep/ breeze mode button ( ) located on the control panel or remote control, two times. When turned on, the right half will illuminate, the fan will randomly cycle through the four speeds settings recreating a natural outdoor breeze.
- To turn the fan off press the power button ( ) located on the control panel or remote control.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET:
NOTE: PLEASE REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE STICKER FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY
BEFORE OPERATION. This unit includes one lithium battery, CR2025/3V. Remove
battery before discarding the remote. Battery Replacement
The cells should be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from
children. Even used cells may cause injury.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom back of the remote control handset. Slide the battery cover out with your thumb.
- Remove old battery.
- Place new battery into battery compartment.
- Slide battery compartment into the remote control handset.
NOTES
- Remove the battery from the equipment when it is not being used for an extended period of time.
- Remove the used battery promptly.
- Do not discard used batteries into household trash containers. Contact your local government for disposal or recycling practices in your area.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your fan. Please
remember:
REPLACEABLE FUSE
If your (5 Amp, 125 Volt) replaceable fuse blows, please visit our website at

to order a new fuse. Follow the below instructions to replace the fuse on the
plug.
User Servicing Instructions

Unplug your fan. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by using your thumb or a flathead screwdriver to slide the cover down towards the prongs.
NOTE: Ensure that fuse cover is completely open before attempting to remove fuse. -
Remove fuse carefully by using a small screwdriver to pry the fuse out of the compartment by the metal ends of the fuse. (see Figure 4)

Place plug on a solid, flat surface. Insert new 5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse into fuse compartment and use a small screwdriver to secure the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment.
CAUTION: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse. -
Slide fuse cover closed completely. If fuse cover is difficult to close, make sure fuse is secured in place completely by pressing down on metal ends of the fuse.

Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
FAN CLEANING
- Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
- Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing.
- Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
- Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner.
- Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.
FAN STORAGE
When storing your fan in the off season, it is important to keep it in a safe
dry location. It is important to protect the fan head from dust. If you have

WARRANTY INFORMATION
3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Sunbeam Products, Inc. (collectively “Sunbeam”) warrants that for a period of
three years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace
this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the
warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product
or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made
with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive
warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty. This warranty is
valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of
purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service
centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to
alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any
of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper
voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,
repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam
service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, fire,
flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or
condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in
duration to the duration of the above warranty. Sunbeam disclaims all other
warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or
otherwise. Sunbeam shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting
from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including
incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or
for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought
against purchaser by any other party. Some provinces, states or jurisdictions
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
