top two ports and 0.6A on the bottom two ports. USB cameras are recommended to
be connected into one of the top two 1.4A ports.

Mounting Bracket Installation
Note: Before installation, please ensure the unit is disconnected from the power source.
- Remove the two screws on one side of the enclosure.
- Attach the installation bracket to the enclosure using the screws provided. The bracket is attached to the enclosure as shown.
- Repeat steps 1-2 for the other side of the device.
- Mount and secure the brackets to a surface or a suitable location with mounting screws(not included).

Wiring
Warnings:
- Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
- During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.
Steps for device wiring:

Connect an HDMI source (such as PC, Blu-ray player, Apple TV, 4K media player, etc) to the HDMI IN of the transmitter using an HDMI cable.

Connect a Cat 5e/6/6a/7 cable between the HDBT OUT of the Transmitter to the HDBT IN Input of the Receiver.

Connect an audio source to AUDIO IN (PASS-THROUGH) port of the transmitter, and connect an audio receiver to AUDIO OUT (PASS- THROUGH) port of the receiver.

Connect a USB Host device to USB HOST port of the Transmitter, and connect USB devices (such as keyboard, mouse and USB camera) to USB DEVICE ports of the Receiver. The USB devices can be connected to the Host PC.

Connect for additional control options:
• Ethernet pass-through: Connect a PC to ETHERNET port of the transmitter/receiver, and connect a network to ETHERNET port of the receiver/transmitter, then the PC can be connected to the network.
• RS232 operations: Connect a control PC or control system to RS232 port of the transmitter and receiver. Use the DIP switch to set the function of RS232 port, see “DIP Switch Settings” section.
• Audio de-embedding output: Connect audio receivers to AUDIO OUT (DE-EMBED) ports of the transmitter and receiver for de-embedding audio output. -
Connect the included 12V power supply to the Receiver. With one-way PoH function supported, one power adapter is needed to connect to the receiver to power both units.

Power on all attached devices.
DIP Switch Settings
This device equips a 4-pin DIP switch for settings of RS232 working mode
(RS232 pass-through, MCU firmware update or Valens firmware update).
By default, all the four switches are set in (up, up, up, up) positions. The
following table shows how the DIP Switch functions:

Upgrade
The transmitter and receiver support upgrading FW through RS232 port on rear
panel. Please contact your supplier to get thelatest upgrade tool, “Legrand
Product Firmware Updater.”
Steps to upgrade FW:

Connect the RS232 port of the transmitter/receiver to the PC using a 3-pin phoenix connector to USB type-A cable.

Set the DIP switch of the transmitter/receiver to the position of “X, X, Down, Up”.
-
Connect the power adapter provided to the receiver. Power on all attached devices.
Note: If the transmitter isn’t connected with the receiver, it needs to be connected to another power adapter. -
Open the “Legrand Product Firmware Updater” software. The interface of the software is as follows on page 8.

Introduction of the “Firmware Updater”:
- 1: Select the correct model. (Upgrade transmitter: select C2G30055-TX; Upgrade receiver: select C2G30055-RX).
- RS232: Port: Select the correct COM Port number. Baud rate: Select the correct baud rate, the correct baud rate for upgrading TX/RX is 115200. Connect: Click the button to connect with the device.
- FW version: Click “Check” button to check the current firmware version of the device after successful connection.
- Update File: Click “Browse” to select the FW upgrade bin file from the local PC.
- Update: Click the button to start upgrading firmware after the bin file is uploaded.
- Status: Show the log of the operations on the software and returning information of the device.
- Clear: Click the button to clear up all the log in the white box.
- 2: The progress bar will show the upgrading process.
5. Click
“Browse” to select the upgrade bin file from the local PC and click “Update”
to start upgrading firmware of the receiver.
Note: Don’t power off the device during upgrade process.
Important Safety Information
Do not plug the unit in any outlet that does not have enough current to allow
the device to function. Refer to the specifications in this manual for power
level of the unit.
Liquid: If this unit or it’s corresponding power adapter has had liquid
spilled on or in it, do not attempt to use the unit. Do not attempt to use
this product in an outdoor environment as elements such as rain, snow, hail,
etc. can damage the product.
In case of a storm, it is recommended that you unplug this device from the
outlet.
Avoid placing this product next to objects that produce heat such as portable
heaters, space heaters, or heating ducts.
THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS. Do not attempt to open this product and
expose the internal circuitry. If you feel that the product is defective,
unplug the unit and refer to the warranty information section of this manual.
