The TruVuTM Expandable Universal Controller is a versatile device designed for HVAC equipment control, advanced air quality control, and various zone-level applications. It features dual Ethernet ports with built-in fail-safe, supporting direct connection or daisy chain topologies using BACnet/IP. With 17 points of onboard control, it offers flexibility and convenience in managing different systems. Product Usage Instructions

To use the TruVuTM Expandable Universal Controller, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure the power supply is connected to the controller with the correct voltage (24Vac +/- 15% or 24Vdc +/- 10%).
  2. If required, connect third-party devices to the RS-485 port for communication.
  3. If needed, connect ZS sensors, iVu Equipment Touch, or TruVu ET Displays to the Rnet port.
  4. If applicable, connect Act Net communicating devices such as i-Vu Smart Valves and Smart Damper Kit to the Act Net port.
  5. If necessary, connect additional expansion devices to the USB Expansion port (if available).
  6. Configure the Universal Inputs based on your specific requirements (Dry, Pulse Counting, Thermistor, or 0-10 Vdc).
  7. Mount the controller using either the DIN rail or Screw mounting options.
  8. Ensure the controller is placed in an appropriate weather-tight location such as mechanical rooms or equipment boxes.
  9. If wireless service access is needed, use the USB Service port for configuration, firmware updates, and controller recovery.
